What if the ECHOMAP has lakevu on one and navionics on the other one

Hey man. Any idea why my map depths dont match my sonar depths. Its off 10-15 ft. Kind if frustrating. Im no expert so there may be somthing im missing.

Great and informative video. In the video you said that if you crisscross while you are recording will give you more accurate maps. I think that once you turn the mapping on it makes completely new contour lines, I don't think the mapping adds to the accuracy of the previous mapping. My question is: What is the best direction to record breaks or drop-offs, parallel to the break, drop-off or perpendicular to the break, drop-off.

If you have RF interference you must water ground.

I'm duck hunter also...we used spotlights years ago, but all new led stuff is way better!

Interesting that that piece of paper said "lithium ion" batteries on it, not lithium iron phosphate (LifePO4). Weird, right? In any case, I would be more worried about the alternator over-charging and ruining the lithium battery, than the lithium ruining the engine. Well, I guess overcharging could actually trigger a fire, and that could ruin an engine, but LiFePO4 is less flammable than lithium ion. In any case, lithium hates being over charged: it is deadly to lithium, so that is really something the engineers of alternator charging systems are going to have to work out. There are going to have to be aftermarket solutions. It shouldn't be that hard to maintain a minimum of 12.6 volts to start the engine with, though, since lithium will hold a little higher volts than lead acid.

I have a Echomap UHD 73SV at dash and an echomap plus 73sv at bow connected with a garmin ethernet cable. I manually input 200 waypoints on the uhd and only three waypoints showed up on the echomap plus. Share user data is on at both units. What am I doing wrong?
