It still has a combustion engine correct. And has a battery also. The price is about the cost of a new transmission. I will take a vehicle any day that gets 20mpg over that night mare!!! A message to the new generation you will need to make about 200 k a year to afford a new car a new home and one child . GOOD LUCK!!

Love the New 2024 Tacoma Jeff. I have decided after spending some quality time in my sister Missy's 2023 RAV4 Prime SE I am going to keep saving for the all new 2025 RAV4 hybrid XSE.

Could they have made the red a little more subdued? I know then it would look like a Lexus but so what Toyota always has to turd up the design a little bit so not to step on Lexus toes.

They went from V6 to 4 cylinder and added a Hoover Dam and the fuel economy is almost identical to previous generation. They also made the fuel tank smaller. I won’t be buying another Tacoma.

How to update the software please?

Limited slip deferential and traction control are different.Ive had manual transmissions, some with limited slip deferentials ,some with not,hands down the limited slip is the winner.I dont know about automatic transmissions

Fred, love all these videos. I finally bought a 4 runner and I need help with how can I keep my back hatch open while car camping without draining battery? I know how to turn off overheads etc, but unsure on dash light. TY so much?.😮

Own a 2008 Camry Hybrid and I have owned it since new. Still running strong. You just can't beat Toyota. I have had no problems with the battery pack at all. Very little Maintenance just Gas, oil, and tires.

19 inch wheels will rattle your teeth. I am over that and bought the LE with 16inch wheels. I am past the high performance mentality. At the end of the day, the car is a Toyota Camry with a big price tag. I am sure that these will sell as soon as they reach the dealership.

What's a good cell phone holder? I tried a spring-loaded clip-on Andobil but it would not stay put. I have an Andobil for the air vents from my previous car but I don't want to block the air vents on my 2021 RAV4.

LOL! Who would want this Toyota at all? Why not just go full EV? The battery in the Toyota they just said they aren't seeing hardly any come back AND IT'S JUST AIR COOLED! In something like a Tesla the battery is water cooled and is still really good (maybe a 10% mileage loss) even after 200,000 miles! Now realize that the Tesla battery can be replaced for around $5,000 today (yep same price as the Toyota) and every year it gets cheaper to replace them because lithium battery prices keep going down. By the time you might need to replace a Tesla battery the rest of your car might be trashed from all the miles but if you had to it may be only $1,200 by then. So why not just go full EV from the get go? Sure some can't but if you live somewhere with even a regular 115v house plug you can charge your EV just fine for almost all your commuting needs. Hybrids have all the battery issues of a pure EV plus you have all the maintenance costs and requirements of a gas engine. Just go pure EV and you will be better off financially in the end.

I have always had a positive opinion of Toyota Hybrids but there are exceptions.My brother in law recently had to replace the battery on his Yaris Hybrid which is just over 3 years old at a cost of € 3000 +.He says that it was not covered by a warranty.He lives on one of the Canary islands and although I do not know what mileage the car has done it is very unlikely to have reached the figures of over 150,000. Any thoughts?😊
