Great to see a positive outlook of India growing as a mfg hub, not only for local consumption but also for export. Sustainability and environmental issues, have created issues for mfrs in Europe. India, as of now, with long targets to comply obviously is placed at advantage. India needs large corporate mfg cos. to bring in adv tech, improved quality and work culture, in turn all creating wealth and employment. Yes, red tapism, complex taxation, long winding judiciary, pol interferences, corruption need to go away for transparency. But overall, still a great bet. Swedish Counselor interestingly hinted at some specific parts of India as favourite. Great insight by Hitachi gentleman.

Swedish solutions are quite expensive and right now Swedish companies would find difficult to match the value proposition India seeks. Sweden can enter Indian market in two ways one is to offer technology to established players so that they can offer better or more efficient solutions to it's customers, second way is to set up manufacturing and export from India. Sweden has to invest first , it has to use it's design and engineering expertise to make products solutions that meets the Indian needs. All the best.
