Hi everyone I have seen bits and pieces of this movie . The parts that I have seen were really good . These actors were amazzin. But I would like to see the whole movie in English . Can some one tell me. Like I said the actors were amazzin.
Both of thse guys are superb in their roles, but in all my years I wish just one man had looked at me the same way a he did at 2:24!

Horrible movie. Full of tropes, clichés, and gays as a spectacle. And of course none of the actors is gay, or has the slightest clue what gay means.

Una película parecida esta es "mi mejor amigo", tiene la sutileza y dulzura de esta pelicula, muy buena.
Dieser Film ist so berührend und es steckt so viel wirkliches Leben darin . Obwohl Marc sich oft wie ein Arschloch verhält möchte man ihn in den Arm nehmen, man spürt seinen Schmerz und seine Panik als ihm bewußt wird ,das er etwas verloren hat von dem er gar nicht wußte vor Kay ,das es existiert. Großartige schauspielerische Leistungen von beiden. Hoffentlich gibt es eine Fortsetzung.

I'm curious: why do people make videos on CZcams where they show clips from films and overlay them with songs? I guess many people like that from the number of likes compared to dislikes. I hate it - I want to hear the dialogue and it's impossible with a singer and music over the movie's original words. I'd appreciate people's responses. Thank you.

It’s considered an edit :) people make edits of their favorite shows and movies or even people! It’s a form of showing your interest in a particular thing. It’s not really a compilation but more of an art form- if that helps
Clips from the movie version "Bent" by Martin Sherman. I know the story well. I produced and played Horst in the stage version in 1984 in a community theater of a central Kansas town. The film is eerily close to my production. Brought back some memories.

As good as this movie is, I can't help but find it a little biphobic. The protagonist isn't gay; he is very much attracted to his wife, making him bisexual. And I really don't like it when love interests pressure their partners into coming out of the closet. While coming out is a very good thing, they'll do it on their own time, thank you very much.

Sorry but he "Marc" was, Kay never made him come out. Marc became sexually attracted to Kay making him have gay fantasies with him. He loved Kay, he didnt love Bettina, There are gay men that have kids...
It can be argued that Marc was in love with his wife. I mean, he did marry and have kids with her. There was no strain in their relationship before Kay showed up. There's no indication in the film that he felt forced to marry her to stay in the closet, because there's no indication in the film that he was ever with a man before Kay. He loved Kay, and he loved Bettina. Marc is bisexual. The fact that movies never acknowledge that bisexuality even exists (Brokeback Mountain is another example) is what's biphobic.

And even if he happened to not be sexually attracted to her, the fact it's still set-up almost like bisexuality/pansexuality isn't an option, made me question the movie a bit. Same with Kay claiming Marc's gay outright - being attracted to a man doesn't automatically make it impossible to be attracted to a woman. It's not like attraction has to be 50/50, either. Someone can have a preference and still be bisexual/pansexual, or bi-romantic. Absolutely fine if the story is about a man realizing and coming to terms with his homosexuality, but it can be done without erasing the existence of the middle of the spectrum.
Marc is gay. He will come out of the closet. Freefall 2, Marc will get along with Kay <3

Ignorance rules some peoples lives and they never learn anything about difference.That would be the majority of the placarded protesters. It bought tears to my eyes to see the young man in tears at the abuse being shouted behind him by some ignorant bigot.
