A Vulcan has to be restored to flying condition again. Where there's the will, there's a way. It's ridiculous that the EE Lightning and Buccaneer are restricted to taxi runs. Even if the flight of these was restricted to certain conditions set by the CAA, it would be better than nothing. You'd have thought that the MoD would keep a few of these vintage and historic jets as part of a Heritage Flight.

On that very day I was patiently waiting at the Hascombe Hill vantage point. From where I was at on Hascombe Hill, I saw her do two 'orbits' over Dunsfold Aerodrome, then she pointed her nose in my direction and, sure enough, flew towards me and, moments later, directly overhead, as she was heading in the direction towards Farnborough Airport.

Oh that’s so very sad , but that’s just so typical of this mucked up world that we live in. All the good leave this earth early and the shyt stays behind. Thanks Bob, Heidi ❤️😁😁❤️

It's enough to make a grown man misty eyed! I used to see The Vulcans overhead regularly when I was a kid back in the 70's, although I didn't know what they were at the time. I'm lucky enough now to live just a short hop away from Waddington and have been up there to see and photograph XM607 on a few occasions. The Vulcans are/were all special, but XM607 is the jewel in the crown!!

You can see many more aerobatic airplanes and extreme "3D" pilots in action performing airshows each and every flight at your traditional radio controlled model aircraft flying club. Every club has at least one brilliant pilot giving a great show with every flight. Great outing for pleasure, for the kids, for entertainment and fun. And guess what? Clubs are everywhere, almost all welcome spectators and have bleachers. Just google rc club airfield near me. WORLDWIDE
