@ClefOHH I've been restricted to only using characters that hadn't reached level 40 yet (trying to get to max rank). So this was the first time I'd actually had a choice in who I played with. The game has never not been fun. I've just put myself through mild torture for the past few months😅

@tailzgimer1726 They definitely are not the same for gameplay. I have been playing A LOT of GW1 this year. Whenever I play GW2, it always takes a good hour or 2 of adjustment to get even close to how smooth it feels on GW1. The same goes when I play GW2 for a long time, then go back to GW1. Idk what it is, and I can't explain it, it's just different

@@user-cu4io2hm2i 100%. I just dont get it. Add all from GW1 and add more. It ain't hard. More diverse looking lobbies and plus, like you said, the GW1's cosmetics are miles better than GW2's

@@OldBenKenobi2318 right, when I load up into lobbies and am sitting there waiting 20 mins for noone to join it Im just thinking, "Man how could anyone think this game is dead" on the real its not dead yet, but its barely hanging on compared to GW2. GW1 is only barely alive on specific platforms too, mostly being Xbox and Ps3. Idk how many times ive redownloaded it on PC, only to uninstall again later that day because I spent more time getting a proper lobby than playing the game.

@@brandonsaerens3673 I instantly join matches on PS5/4. Both Turf and Team Vanquish are alive in GW1 with healthy lobbies. If you join a dead lobby don’t sit there waiting for people 😂. Leave the lobby and join another one. GW2 is also very alive. The wait is max one second. GW1 I will wait like max 5 seconds. Of course the game is almost dead on old Gen consoles. The consoles themselves are two generations old, and are pretty much dead themselves. PC is just not a good platform to be playing GW games on as well. So many issues.

That's exactly the same as me. If it had a few quality of life upgrades (the main one being adding shared vanquishes), a lot more people would agree. I even (partially) don't mind the levelling up system. It's odd, but I don't hate it anywhere near as much as most players

honestly me too. i just wish that they atleast had a single player mode like gw2 did but too bad they discontinued it in 2015

I would have a lot more fun on GW1 if it wasn’t so unbalanced. Neither game is very balanced, but GW1 is just terrible in that department. Everyone runs the same character. Everyone. At least in GW2 you have a lot more character diversity. Not everyone is running the same character. Because no character is as broken as super commando. Or agent pea. Because GW2 actually had the sense to nerf those characters. Also the leveling system is SO much better in GW2. The devs in GW1 went out of their way to make the leveling system in GW1 as tedious as possible. Hitting a garlic drone with a ZPG should never be a level up challenge. No challenge should be so hard/tedious that you have to skip it.

@@GrimGriefer5 skill issue. When people realise how boring the suicide aspect of the burrow is. They learn to use burrow purely for mobility. Then the real fun begins🤣
