Hur förhåller man sig om det är en person man är i beroendeställning till som gör det som inte är funktionellt (och personen gör det upprepade gånger)? Det är ju inte alltid man kan hjälpa dom personerna och man har ju inte valet att välja bort dom.

I'd like to comment on one thing. For me 'no' that I hear from the child doesn't have to mean that I am using bad method. Maybe the 'no' that I get is good answer and I just need to hear what is behind this 'no'. I think no matter how good method I would use to ask my child to brush teeth it may happen that for example he is too tired to do it on that certain day and the best option is to accept it. I wouldn't then try to reevaluate my method and look for a better one, I think it is very ok in many situations to accept the 'no' as in this the child may be saying 'yes' for his other needs, like for the need to sleep, to rest. All I want to say is that for me the 'no' is also important information, not only about my methods, but also about the other needs of child, that maybe are in this moment much more important to him.
