Most mis fires are caused by people “soft-loading” their guns. Trying to be quiet when closing the chamber while loading, let the slide loose when closing on the shell when loading at the truck. Either way, good recovery!
The Flinch is real with this one lol Lord have mercy.
It happened to me last week on public. I instantly pulled the slide back and tossed another shell in within seconds. The tom just poked his head up more and I dropped him.
Had a similar thing happen 2 years ago due to a bad shell in the gun. Luckily i was able to do same as the shooter in this vid remain calm and get another chance.
I’m pretty sure my worst fear is a face full of #7 or 9 tss from some jackass who tries to shoot my decoy at 90 yards …. Just saying.
My father in law got off lucky a few years ago as a road hunter shot his decoy from behind at an angle to where he was sitting. Remember kids, never EVER set up within site of a road, and never ever set up with the decoys between you and the easiest route to where you are sitting.
