Greetings from Murrieta Hot Springs California watching all the smoke that's going on, what is the common smell, is it the burning Moss like a camp fire or does it have the egg smell.if you can explain what the smells are like around there that would be very interesting.

Nobody is expecting to stop the flow, just divert it. If it reaches the main road, optic cables, electricity and diverse other things there can be disrupted. The way to protect those is probably to get them deeper into the ground, but to do that they must buy some time by delaying and diverting.
