Heavily laboured to the point of smudging the sheer simplicity of this beautiful piece. And at the start of the second verse he pays no attention to the compser"s markings to begin ff and gradually cone down to pp on the word 'peace'. I feel he makes very heavy weather of the song. By the tenth beat I was almost rendered comatose.

Even Pavarotti stated clearly that he looked to recordings of Bjorling as his guidepost to sing a roll. The good news here is this poster caused an outpouring of profound appreciation for Bjorling.

The judge here is way off the mark. Just like the poster below, I agree with what he posted. Without Jussi, why post this? Jussi Bjorling is the only tenor that came close to having a Stradivarius in his throat. He was phenomenal.

One of the best arrangements. Such glorious musicality between these two gentlemen. I hope they both have remarkable careers.

It is a shame your esteemed accompanist diminished this classic and miserably detracted from it by his playing in what is an otherwise truly beautiful piece!
