I sadly can't find it any more, but there was a Backrooms video I saw once where at the end the cameraman comes to a door that has a random sign on it: "No Cameras Beyond This Point." So he puts the camera down before going through the door. End of video. I feel like this sort of reaction is actually plausible for a lot of people. We're just used to things making sense, and part of things making sense is that you follow the explicit and implicit rules. Shoving over those boxes would have been "against the rules." So gotta find a different way there.
