This is a 4 min short highlight video of several central utah big game animals I was able to video this past fall with my Tamron 150-600 mm G2 telephoto lens on a Canon 80d. Highlights of Kort's awesome Wasatch late elk hunt. No we did not get the kill scene....it was fast and furious. Kort had less than a minute to find the bull, steady his rifle, calm his nerves and make an accurate and ethical shot. It was an incredible adventure. One of the tallest bucks we saw in 2015. The video footage was taken during the rut in November on the south end of the henry mountain range in southern Utah. I nicknamed the buck "TallBoy". Hope you enjoy the short film and subscribe to my channel for future wildlife videos.

I grew up hunting OC amazing place. Killed some dandy bucks. Getting tags is really hard now. When I hunted we hunted when it was 3 point or better then it went to limited entry. Sure miss that place. Thanks for the videos

These are the bucks that haunt me in my dreams.. year around…. Some day my friends… I’ll get one.
I'll Never forget buck fever and hearing my father say each October that his dreams showed him where we needed to go...Buck Fever is real, insanely addicting & some incredible feelings to have. Especially when the moments & memories are as fresh as when I got my first tag.
Not unless you are rich,the normal person will never get the chance, the deer season in Utah is bullshit.
Unfortunately most of Utah is managed so poorly that a deer like this is just a dream anymore. Sadly. Central mountain manti is about as sad as it gets. Winter range shows about zero actual mature bucks. I haven't hunted utah deer in 15 years.

It's not any better here in Colorado, used to be able to get a mule deer tag every year, have struck out the last 3 years.Time to move to wyoming.

Oak creek is limited entry and a highly desirable unit very hard to draw
