This is the RF-37-2 Antique Radio by Hiroshi Iwahara. Not to be confused with the Bad Radio by Akio Kamei, this piece is EXTREMELY RARE! Only two of this particular versions were crafted. This Karakuri puzzle has more than one hidden compartment and is well crafted and quite heavy. We will be posting this up for sale soon.

This is a closer look at the RF 19-2 Sushi Japanese Puzzle Box. Although not a complex puzzle, it does take on an interesting form. Crafted back in 2008, it is well crafted and a bit larger than most other Karakuri pieces because of the platform. This is not a spoiler video.

The Zipp Chack Karakuri Puzzle Box (UNSOLVED!)

The Zipp Chack Puzzle box by Yasuaki Kikuchi was crafted in 2018 and released to select Karakuri members. This one frankly has me a bit stumped. The mechanism (shaped like a traditional zipper) is very unique and the puzzle is well crafted. Measuring 125 x 82 x 54 mm. I find this box puzzling! Can't wait to finally figure this one out!

How to Open 4 Sun 10 Step Yosegi Kuzushi Japnese Puzzle Box

The top and bottom of this box have a Yosegi inlay, while the sides are profiled with a Kuzushi pattern. To open it is a sequential movement of the sides and panels. This box is complete with the crafter's stamp on the inside of the lid

This is late but the real ones that I guess da Vinci had contained secret messages carried by couriers and could only be opened by code if you attempted to force it open or smash it it would release an acid that would destroy the message(paper) inside.
