I love this!!!! Though I feel The Wizard and I is the better structured song, I love how Making Good lists Elphaba's goals concretely. I especially love the intro where she airs her grievances and then goes into what she wants to achieve. It really adds a lot to her character. Wonder if any part of this will be incorporated into the upcoming films.

I like this more than Wizard and I. It shows her anger and what she wants to accomplish. I also like the bit about her father. This song sounds more unique and catchy. It shows how independent and mature she is since she is practically a caretaker of her sister. It also shows her revengeful side

While this song does focus more on Elphaba's independent goals, I feel like The Wizard and I puts in perspective that she believes the Wizard is going to help her achieve all this - which is all the more earth-shattering to her, in the end. Also, Making Good sounds a lot more like book Elphaba - an amazingly interesting character, but, as SJB said herself, they had to make it lighter when KC came in. So I feel like, had they kept this song, the audience would have a harder time empathizing with Elphaba and flock to Glinda, and that would go against the whole point of this story. (but I do love this song. SJB sings like a goddess and Stephen writes lyrics so well- i mean, the rhymes can marry me)
