Steve Bonino in Phyllis episode "The Apartment"
zhlédnutí 1,4KPřed 13 lety
In 1977, Steve Bonino made a couple of guest appearances on the comedy series Phyllis starring Cloris Leachman. Phyllis' daughter, Beth, married a musician named Mark (played by Craig Wasson) at the end of the second season, and Steve played Charlie, a guitar player in Mark's band, in the last two episodes of the series. This is his scene from the penultimate episode, The Apartment.

The latest fan video from El Kaye (yours truly) gives the C.A.P.E.R. Kids the Can-Can treatment! I've edited several such Hooked on a Can-Can videos for various fandoms over the years and I wanted to do one for C.A.P.E.R. The trickiest part of doing this one was having so few episodes to draw from, but I think it works pretty well! Enjoy!
Cosie Costa as Captain Romance

In 1992 Cosie made this very funny appearance on the series Life Goes On as an ambitious romantic suitor answering an erroneously placed personal ad. I added a short clip at the beginning with another suitor who comes as a knight just to better set up the situation before Cosie comes in.

I loved this show as a kid. Thanks for this. I still hope one day to find all the episodes.
I wished this show lasted more than 1 season as I got older I always thought about this show
I was 14 when this came out and I had a crush on Doc.
Did you hear the thundering hoofbeats?
@@wayneb8495 of course, didn't every girl
He was the cuttest guy in the movie. I was a child when I saw it for the first time and I loved him
I loved this show. I was 12 and had a HUGE crush on John Lansing. Now he is a writer. I love his books.
What movie is this?
Are you still active?
Yes, the website is currently down for remodeling but hope to have it up again sometime this year. Will try to add more materials to this page as well. Still looking for lost episodes, though, nothing new on that front sadly.
@@TheCaperProject ok thanks!! After looking around the Facebook fan group, I was relieved to find out that it’s recent and not like abandoned for 10 years or something 😭😭

Did the Monkees sue them ?
Why would they? The Monkees weren't Crimefighters and didn't have superpowers.
@@brotherkellymatthewbarnes8882 ahh i was joking, cause they appear very similar
When the show got canceled I started up a petition to bring the show back in my sixth grade class. I had heard about the petitions that brought back Star Trek so I thought it was possible, although I never sent it in or anything. I even got my homeroom teacher, Sister Mother Mary John, to sign it. I also named my goldfish at the time Mr Featherstone. He lived for at least two years. After he died I buried him in the backyard under a tree like I saw Mr Rogers do once.

John Lansing ❤️❤️❤️
I was 12. And I had a HUGE crush on John Lansing. Thank you for posting. I would love to see all the episodes again.
That's Chico?! Awww!💖🙏🤩 Saturday morning at it's best. I so remember Kids from C.A.P.E.R. They mentioned Monster Squad, Land of the Lost, and others. All great shows. Then I realized this was Freddie Prinze playing the host! He was great! My Mom and me used to watch Chico and the Man. I was pretty young and didn't understand all the jokes and dialog. I just thought Chico was cool! 😎 👍👍 Then years later I saw some reruns. Great show. RIP 🙏💖 FREDDIE PRINZE 😢
Love this! 🤩👍👍💖😁😄

I can't understand why Doug had chosen Julie over Barbara? Was she that immature for him to just see her as a friend and nothing more than friendship and by calling her Kid like Julie does

Kudos for trying to re-create the stateroom scene from Night at the Opera
At around @1:57, Jeannie calls Doc "Doccie." For years, I always thought in the opening theme song that he was called the same. That is, "And Doccie's got the looks..." (rather than "And Doc he's got the looks..."
Carmine had made it to Broadway.
Doomsday was my fave, and I was thrilled that he got a solo in only the second episode. Sadly, he was to have only one more solo in the whole series. Peter Tork was also my fave in the Monkees, and he hardly ever got a solo.
I haven't heard that music at around the 2 minute mark in about 44 years! Thanks for posting "Kids from C.A.P.E.R."!
