Chief Mike Markle's Statement OIS 4600 Everhart
On Sunday 8/11/2024 at 1:33 am, officers were dispatched to an assault in progress at The Ranch Dance Hall (4563 Everhart Road). Call notes advised that a male subject was being assaulted, was on the ground, and not moving. Upon arrival, officers observed an assault taking place on the side of a building on the corner of Everhart Road and Burney Drive. Officers observed the suspect produce a handgun, while over the victim on the ground. One of the officers of the two man unit, engaged the suspect, firing his duty weapon and striking the suspect. The 18 year old male suspect was transported to a local hospital and later succumbed to his injuries. The victim of the assault was also transported to a local hospital for his injuries. The officer involved was not injured and as per department policy, will be placed on administrative leave.

I feel bad for the people inside the mascot costumes I used to be in a mascot costume for my high school I brought the magic to the school mascot was very hot in the costume we had To have two people because I was one of the people inside the mascot costume and the other one was a friend of mine. I had to get him to take over. I had to go and buy my lunch it was before my last march break before I graduated from high school before I went to college i really miss being in a mascot costume was very hot, but I felt good after I did all that work that I did I made people smile made the mascot talk .

As somehow who is a graduate of both the federal law enforcement training center and the command and general staff college, I can say that the military is designed to win wars. Law enforcement is to protect and serve. Cops have to give people they interact with the presumption of innocence, due process, right to a lawyer, right to remain silent, etc…the military during a war has no such obligations. To say the two are the same is exactly what’s wrong with police in America right now…
That’s how the state must view the people. As a threat.
