Have a friend in San Antonio Tx selling H/L heads and intake, vert pricey. (ALAMO AMC) Just paused the video of you guys installing the intake on the 401. Yup you didn't install the PCV metal baffle to the bottom of the aluminum intake, clearly see the bolt holes where the baffle should be. Everyone makes that mistake. it will burn oil if not in place. Sorry.

No disrespect meant, But watching y'all in this series which I'm enjoying the heck out of makes me almost wanna hate y'all for making me have FLASHBACKS of what I endured when I was a young mechanic (21 years old then, but I'm 57 years old now) when I worked at a shop, My boss man, I worked then and me put a FLAT HEAD 6-cylinder in an old 1973 VOLKSWAGEN BUG, And the modifications we did, Special parts we made and had made by machine shops, Body modifications we did, Not to mention having to extend the frame: MAKES YOU UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DON'T SEE MANY MECHANICS IN CHURCH ON SUNDAY (And it isn't because we're working overtime, if you know what I mean). But we got it to work, And work it did. After we got everything done in back, We had to add weight to the front and wheelie bars in the back because you barely touched the pedal: "THAT NOSE CAME IN AIR EVERYTIME." OH GOD, I HATE BEING ON DISABILITY AND ME NOT DOING THIS TODAY LIKE I DID THEN!!

G20 is a 3/4 ton van. G30 is 1 ton.

I am currently working on a 73’ Ironhead and my son has a 97’ 883 that’s pretty close to being done. Did the prism van blow a head gasket? Every time I've seen a heater core and radiator go at the same time it was the exhaust gases pressurizing the cooling system.... I hope that's not the case tho.
