I was there and will never forget that day!
These guys are great! Classic Pittsburgh R&R!
Just found that a friend I have now, didn't know then...we were both in Jack's on S Side watching this Live. Clarks bring the people togeher :) Free at Last!
Pittsburghs finest!
These guys used to play at the Highland House in Uniontown when I was a bouncer there, our house band at the time was The Zippers, I was buddy's with those guys and I'd tease them when The Clarks would come there and play by saying things like "Man just look at those guys, they're gonna be the biggest thing to come out of this area since Donnie Iris" or "That's the best act I've seen on that stage in a long time". I miss those days and my friends in The Zippers, I guess we all kind of scattered into the winds and I haven't even seen any of them in years, and once The Clarks hit it big the owner of the bar couldn't afford to pay them to play there anymore. If you're young and you're reading this here's a bit of advice, enjoy life while you're young, you only get that chance once.
I've never heard a bad song from the Clarks
Love U Guys !!!!!
love the clarks /but they should of played born to late/ but im glad they got the letterman gig
They wanted to play "Shimmy Low," but they had to play "Hell On Wheels."
There's no way this was filmed in the summer of 2000. At 0:20 There is a Ford Edge. That vehicles first model year was 2007!
Exactly! Only cars guys would catch that.
I am getting a Beatles vibe... Diggin’ that baseline 💜 Just discovered these guys due to a Pittsburgh area friend sending me material by you guys ♥️
You might not believe me but my dad was great friends with these guys
letitbegin101 I believe you im from Connellsville and have know Scott for years.. He put an awful lot of energy and work into helping people from Connellsville when there was a severe flash flood that destroyed many homes a couple of years ago..
haven't heard this in a long time
me too
scott told us a story one time about farrah fawcett when she was a guest there he met her didnt get her autograph was the sweetest person i love my boys still going strong
Rockin the burgh in the mile " high " !! BnG4E
i miss home!!!
I live in the burgh. Specifically McKeesport but they come for free at the McKeesport bombshell and their just amazing.
This video makes me homesick for Pittsburgh. I used to jog around the Highland Park reservoir. I moved to Tennessee in 2011, and I miss the 'Burgh almost every day. Carson Street on the Southside (Nakama, Primanti, Tom's Diner, Mario's).
my all time fav!!!
Great Song!!! when you can turn on just about any Clarks song and sing along its a great day :) but I'm glad he cut his hair
Best break up song ever. Oh yeah, and they happen to be from my hometown. Pittsburgh Pa born and raised. Hail to Pitt and Let's go Bucs! This one is to all the girls I loved before..,.
it ain't the burgh without the Clarks , Donny iris and WDVE !!!
I was in the Army from 83 to 86, and whenever I'd come home on leave I never really felt like I was there until I heard Donnie Iris on DVE, then I felt like I was home. And DVE is running on fumes anymore, the morning show is a joke compared to what it used to be, and two mono tone idiots babbling away about the Steelers for half the morning makes it excruciating to listen to, they'll drone on about the same play all week and how whoever wouldn't have dropped the ball if they were playing on real turf or whatever, it's supposed to be a rock music station, not a sports talk station, they need to get rid of that format, nothing will make me almost wreck a car faster then diving for the dial on it's radio when they start with that in the morning, I just can't stand to listen to them drone on about that.
You should have forced them to let you play "Shimmy Low".. things might be different today.
72joemama I've thought about this. What if they had performed Shimmy Low or Better Off Without You on this show?
You rock and should be at the top of the charts!!! <3
Your awesome Clarks!!! Love you wishing I had a sitter for Saturday night Show!!! Still trying!!
Love the Clarks!!!!!!!!
13 years ago? really? Jesus Christ I'm old. Love the Clarks tho :)
Love living in the burgh. Clarks represent us well!!
I love that no matter where they perform..they are just relaxed and laid back! Love our Pittsburgh boys!! No glitz...no glam..just great tunes!!
i wanna go run around the burgh now... love the clarks
Good band from the same place as me Johnstown!
THUMBS UP
To me this is the perfect summer band
The clarks, the only band I'll listen to whenever its 75 degrees out and raining, 'cause they make my day a hell of alot brighter!
I'm glad they are still making music.
They worked long and hard for this. Major props, Clarks!
that song was mediocare to maybe average song writing .... they could do better to represent pittsburghers
XD i grew up with this band!!! <3 The Clarks!!! ^^
the greatest band that isnt in the big time.possibly the greatest band ever.......
my friend is not in this video!
I love that the crowd goes nuts. Pittsburghers are everywhere.
Clarks are amazing
my friend is in this video!
how does this not even have 4,000 views? fucking redic.. it was sweeet meeting you guys at generations in wheeling a while back.
hell yeah
Eating at a restauraunt on the main drag in Indiana PA I look up and there is a staged pic of you guys. Black and white with slicked back short hair, white button shirts that are buttoned up to the neck, cream pants. I think Scott even has a packet protector in his shirt. Totally nerded out it is funny that they can laugh at themselves because they sure play great! John Springdale, PA
Great breakup song! Helped me get over someone who, it turns out, wasn't that special.
