    Do not get three, customer service is absolutely awful. A special needs person was sold three contracts I couldn't undo,the shop kept referring to Pakistan where the staff didn't understand English well. Very very unhappy with three,be careful we were with for 6 years but paid ridiculous prices. I'm finishing once contract ends for me and family.

They kept saying 'we've done it' then the next person says 'oh the last person didn't do it'. then when they finally cancelled it, I had to call numerous times to get my refund and got the same runaround 'oh sorry the last person didn't escalate you case. it'll take 7-10 days to do it.' NONSENSE! i demanded that they do it NOW. STAY AWAY from o2.

      You have a point, to an extent - most people don't leave positive reviews either, which skews things. The best thing to do generally is do actual tests of the network in your area, such as using friends' phones, and use Ofcom data to assess how good a company's customer service is.

    I was with Tesco Mobile on a contract not too long ago, I really loved their customer service, they were really great and quick at answering. The network was alright most of the time but I had to personally leave them as my areas 4G was very poor. Also another great thing to point out is that you can use your club-card points to pay off your bills, they do give loyalty discounts on upgrades too. Overall I would say they are a 8/10 MVNO, it’s just the signal that puts me off. But hey can’t complain too much if the prices are decent and fixed within the club-card offer contracts!

    I have an idea for EE to fix their stupid roaming policies. Pay Monthly: - They should decrease their roaming pass price back to £10 or £15 a month. - EE should limit the fair usage policy to 50GB in Europe only. - For destinations outside of Europe, EE should charge customers daily rates (£7 for example) and cap the data abroad to 150MB (500MB of data for USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand). - Add more destinations on their roaming pass (75 destinations is ideal). Pay as you go: - Automatically charge customers £2.50 a day (and also include the weekly pass as an option instead) - Cap the data to 5GB or something. ⚠️ They should also warn customers that are going to the USA to make sure their phones have VoLTE on their roaming cost checker. There we go, now EE can compete in roaming while keeping their prices and costs low. 😃

    I hope the CMA blocks Three UK and Vodafone UK from merging. It will raise prices, decrease quality and replace 3's customer service with Vodafone's. Vodafone is simply going to get flushed to the sewers after this merger because the quality of the network would become terrible. Worst part: Vodafone will drag 3 down as well. STOP THE MERGER CMA.

Another thing is, it says its a 36 month contract, so will i be paying for 36 months if i choose not to upgrade??

    • @greensmartphones
      @greensmartphones Před měsícem

      You will own the phone at the end of the contract. If it is a 36 month contract, you'll need to pay for 36 months, so you need to be careful. Some companies have even started doing 48 months on more expensive phones, so it's important to use the filter on our website to just show the 24 month deals if you don't want to be locked in for three years.

    I find that 3 has better 5G coverage than their map shows and their download speed is higher than EE in good signal. Instead they have slower 4G speeds compared to EE. Overall I find EE more balanced in terms of speed/coverage because in poor signal 1-2 bars, 3 tends to have low download speeds.

    I'm on both EE & O2. EE is my primary & has been since 2016, I've never had any issues with them & infact my benefits have been constantly improving since first getting my number. O2. O2 is just horrible, worst mobile data & calls coverage, with it constantly dropping out (I live in a very popular city, it shouldn't be as bad as it is). I only got a new sim with them because, they basically just scammed my Dad, by saying you can't get a phone without a sim contract (even though they're separate payments?). When the phone was paid off, they were still demanding a lot of money for sh*t service & a lot less than EE. Because non of this was ever in my name (because the phone was a much needed present) I was constantly saying just cancel the sim, I don't really use it anyway. Eventually got to cancelling the contract & just turning the number into a pay as you go & O2 did not make it easy, infact it was an incredibly annoying process. Many calls (talking to incomprehensible foreigners, pretty much every phone call), when we finally got to someone who said what we wanted was possible after many attempts, instead of been able to keep current sim for no messing about, we were told we'd have to buy a new sim just to copy the number over & set it up, which meant getting the new sim & talking to a thousand more incomprehensible foreigners, a few times we were told on the phone to go into an O2 shop, but everytime we did that, we were told to phone O2 instead, it was a constant back & forth annoyance & whilst trying to do this, we were constantly asked why & they were always trying to sell us stuff we did not & still do not want. We were also still getting charged for a sim we weren't using at all, until the change over, but it was O2 making the process so drawn out, difficult & time wasting just so they got more money out of us. To put into perspective... O2 was about £30-£50. per month for unlimited texts, may been unlimited calls aswell can't really remember & about maybe 10GB of Data. With EE, it's only £15. per month, non contract, just one of their packs. I get unlimited texts, 10GB of Data & 500 minutes with data roll over. Also every three months/payments, I get to choose an ad on booster which goes on every single pack purchase after & because I've been with them since 2016, I've got an additional 500 minutes, totalling a thousand minutes (don't think I've ever used more than 100-150 minutes per month) & an additional 10.5GB, totalling 20.5GB a month & I never use all my data & so most months, I have a 10GB data roll over. Meaning 30.5GB of Data, 1,000 minutes & unlimited texts with boosts every three months for £15., I'm not sure the deal can realistically get much better than that. Long story short O2 are scam artists & provide very, very little for a lot of money. EE give a lot for very little & are constantly improving.
