this band has nothing in commom with Slipknot. I wonder hor Jay got Slipknot Gig. there Were many metal drummers avaiable. He made a good improvement on technical and musical level.

I'm gonna go against the consensus here and say that while Jay Weinberg is a good drummer I think Atom is soooo much better in Against Me! and he's cool as fuck in person as well.
Still a great live band, but after "Searching for a former clarity", I think they really started to get really bad. His sex change peaked my interest, to check out the band again. But it still isnt anywhere close to what they used to be. Ill still see them live to jam to the classics, but the band just isnt good anymore

Friend saw em in july and said the lead singer was right on point. They played "Disco before the breakdown" and "we did it all for don"---he said perfect...and from this video compared with "Don't lose touch" when she was Tom Gable I think she is liking what she does now!

yeah exactly how i feel. she still has the scratchiness to her voice, but you can definitely hear more feminine tones to it. especially now, because she's been on hormones for all these years
