I loved it before the fire, and it’s very similar now it’s electric, but the Karts feel a little slower than the ones at Newcastle. I use GoPro Max …. Fabulous camera, can do 360 filming too, but I haven’t got the hang of the editing yet 🙄

I would normally, but it was a charity endurance event, so we were racing for 10 hours 🤔

I think you can race if you’re over 14… we have a 14 yr old that races at Hull 🤔

@@simbo64 I've tried to book for elk motorsport but all the bookings say 17+ sessions so I'm quite confused 🤷‍♂️

I thought Elk was 16+ as they are twin engine karts… oh I don’t know, they all have different rules, drives you mad !!

@@simbo64 🤣🤣🤣 they let me on the twin engines at the age of 12 somethings definitely off with elk at the moment...

Karts better, they just felt different. Also, as you say, the track did have slight influence 🤔

It was … was worried about the conversion to Electric this year at TeamSport…. Not any more, Boost Button is the future !!!

The ones at Hull are crap compared to the newer ones like At Newcastle….. look at my recent videos, there is a boost button on the new ones 👍👏👏👏

@@simbo64 yeah I saw that that's pretty cool I used to go to the hull one all the time and when they got the electric ones they said everyones time was gonna be at least a second faster now its actully a second slower and it's so hard to gain seconds on your time I'm stuck at 25.5 seconds not good at all. But the boost new electric ones seems very good

The boost button is the game changer!!… at Newcastle, you get 8 seconds of boost per lap, it’s working out where best to use it. Very effective though 👍

About 3 or 4 months ago I think… fairly recent

I would like a bit of each 😂 the weight issue really makes the difference, I’m 106kg so always struggle against the lightweights…. At most tracks I’m about 1 to 1.5 secs adrift of them, but still enjoy it 👍

They are different, and eventually they will all be electric, but there is nothing like the proper engine and the smell of petrol …. Plus, both experiences are different. I would advise you to do both 🤔
