    Hey again Lindsay, I commented earlier but something else came to mind later in the video...I'm in Canada, and I bought some of those KnCut bits from a company here. Absolutely love them! Best of the best, and there's some literature on their website about those bits that I think you'll be super interested in. Lemme know and I'll shoot you a link in the response of this comment later if you like...

      Nah, No big deal here, just didn't wanna stick it in the main comments. It's just regarding one of the things you mentioned about enlarging a hole size using a bigger bit being damaging to the bit... I was looking for a drill bit that would do that, and I found those KnKut (to be determined lol). I double-checked the description, and they do definitely state that they are designed for/can be used for that purpose. If that's not the case, maybe the owner should know. If it is the case, than that's another benefit you could mention to potential buyers. I thought it really did make sense because of the stepped tip, that you could use them for that purpose but the vid made me second guess my memory. Anyhow, here's the link... read the bullet points below the main body of the description. I think it's point 3. I just thought it would be good to know for both of us whether that's the case...Lemme know! ca.jbtools.com/knkut-29kk10-29-piece-mechanics-length-step-point-drill-bit-set/?wi=off&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw2ou2BhCCARIsANAwM2FZLCTj9xD_GEGhG16Y6e7qcEcJhj-kgMB84u0-w0tOpdN6i-jkf38aAnzAEALw_wcB

    I still have my Proto speedwrenches 1/2 and 3/8's used to use them at new sites where electrical power was spotty and scarce at best and battery technology is nowhere what it is today. I don't use them anymore thanks to being retired and the current state of battery technology That 1 5/16 impact socket is $77.75 in the Snapon catalog. $32 and a full warranty? That's almost a felony. Crap if you are worried about it breaking sooner than a Snapon, buy two and you'll still come out ahead but I seriously doubt they are that much less than a Snapon in quality. Torque Test Channel just did a video for 1 inch guns, IR, air and battery and Milwaukee battery. Those things are scary big. That Gear Wrench Tap and die set looks nice. I don't have a need for one but if I did, that would be the one to get. The dirty little secret about Jerky and BBQ is that most of it is nasty. That's why the good ones get so popular and so big.

    I was an aircraft mechanic and we used 1/4" speed handles to take out screws. We used a ratcheting bit holder and a snap on handle was the best to use because it has a palm holder instead of a handle. We use the 1/4" because you can put a lot of pressure on it and it would flex and help with screws where the head was worn out.

Have a few streamlight but now have 1 coast due to you. It's great. The right tool for the right job used correctly makes every job easier easier. If your unfamiliar with tool truck prices , AND the benefits offered , please keep your unfounded comments to a minimum. PS - Milwaukee power tools on Amazon are extremely difficult , if possible , to get warranted . J7st saying buyer beware there .

    I'm an A level tech with 8 years experience and just recently found myself gravitating to the truck for certain tools that may be more expensive but are just nicer and have a hassle free warranty, which I have learned to appreciate as I've gotten older and my life has gotten a lot more busy. I push our new guys to go to the harbor freight next door for their first tools.

    Capri, Powerbuilt, Gearwrench, Performance Tool, even Horusdy are good budget options.

      There are other kits available that have those wrenches. Look at 80944 and 80949.

    I never dreamed those wedge style lights would be comfortable in your pocket all day but I have a couple of them because I work overnight during our October harvest run and don't ever want to be without. I routinely sit for 12 hours in a tractor or truck and can't even tell the light is in my pocket.

    SK is no longer making tools in the US

    • @CoyleTools
      @CoyleTools Před 16 dny

      You'll have to cite a reputable source for that info. SK still manufactures some of their products Williamspost, PA, according to their web site. They may also manufacture in China and Taiwan, but if you're saying the manufacture SOLELY in China, please cite your source.

    • @Bob-kr6fg
      @Bob-kr6fg Před 9 dny

      @@CoyleTools They literally list China as both manufacture and country of origin on their Amazon page. Hand tools where the same design for over 40 years, and got up to Snap-on prices. Now, totally different designs and 1/5th the price, and we are supposed to believe they are still US made LOL!

    • @CoyleTools
      @CoyleTools Před 8 dny

      @@Bob-kr6fg According their site, they still do some manufacturing in the US. I don't know why you're contending otherwise. Exactly what product lines are made in the US, I don't know.

    My problem was in the throttle. After taking the snap ring out I found an orange/white rubbery o ring that was cracking and falling apart causing the sticking. Do you know where I could find this part?

      They've been excellent sellers. Next week's vid has the two new Streamlight Wedges in blue and purple, which I was eager to see. They're a special order, so they won't be going on the shelves.
