for anyone who’s confused, as we all know in the movie Peeta got hurt on one of his legs but he does have both of his legs, but in the book, when he hurt his leg he ended up getting a prosthetic leg because in one of the scenes he got scratched or something like that. but yeah hopefully that cleared stuff up

Explanation: SO, in the hunger games books the boy named Peeta wins the hunger games but during the games he has an injury and Katniss (brunette girl/his ally/love interest) puts a tourniquet on his leg to stop the bleeding. Tourniquets can not be left on for more than 2 hours or else it will cause damage to the limb. His tourniquet was left on for well over two hours, damaging his leg severely. He had to get it amputated and Katniss didn't know until she saw his prosthetic during an interview with the Interview man Caesar Flickman. (mind you him and Katniss were 15-17 at the time of these events)
