AI will fail for important things because the AI will be trained on incorrect data. 1) example: the big bang model of the universe is likely wrong. How much AI training has that at its core? 2) most of the important data is classifed or otherwise kept secret, or intentionally false, and would be missing from the training 3) politically incorrect data will be prevented. Its already being done 4) 95% of common, accepted, even "scientific", knowledge is outright wrong. AI = total fail

AGI will be the world's first information-p.a.r.a.s.i.t.e. It consumes communication, thoughts and knowledge of a host species, developing it's own distinctive computational species in the process. Here is an idea: food that is currently thrown out is instead shipped to a dehydrating and powdering facility. A large machine will turn the food into a powder that has shelf stability. Recipes and repurposing of the powder could possibly help put a good dent in communities suffering from hunger. About 30% of food is wasted which could theoretically be used to help feed the starving 10%?
