@@icedidi I will say, India and China along with many other countries, the ICE will will live a long time. India has to be the largest market for RE, so do they need the rest of the countries if they go to electric. I don't see electric for another 20 years. I hope to be about dead by then.

RE are doing a good job of trying to keep ahead of the times, but I agree…….if the government do get to ban new ice vehicles by 2030, then logic suggests that manufacturers need to “fill their boots” while they can…..meanwhile, we will have to buy a new bike just before the ban 😢 and hope fuel prices don’t go through the roof.

@@BlakesPipes indeed, India/China and all the emerging economies (we live in a fantasy world in which we think the anglosphere / Europe is THE world) will enjoy fossil fuel for years to come, further undermining western economies.

Thanks Paul……the “Mars Bar” black really grabs me, the white and blue does too, but I would have to get the rear wheel sprayed to match the front 🫣. If the Guerrilla Package, is as good as the Himi 450, it will be another brilliant do it all bike. Bimble down the back lanes, “scratching” (remember when we used to call it that 😂) on A and faster B roads, a bit of motorway work thrown in too….and all for around £5000….unbelievable value in my humble opinion. The proof of course will be in the riding, can’t wait. Cheers

Morning Dave. Saying things like “RE should stick to air cooled classics”, “why aren’t RE staying with what they do best”…that sort of thing. Plus, saying what they think RE should be producing, like the Guerrilla with a 650 engine, or an 800+ etc. Some people are just being blinkered, and I am expecting one of my subscribers to chime in with a similar comment either on here or when I do get to do a demo ride 🫣🙄😂, he will get told ……. 😂 Cheers

Morning James, I like getting lost occasionally 😂 (don’t take kindly to being told to though 🤔😂) I really can see that Sherpa 450 engine appearing in more different bike styles in the future, though unsure whether the engine characteristics would suit a Classic 🤔. To my eyes, the Guerrilla, takes me back to the early 80’s, when we were “styling” our bikes to look different. When I first saw the white/blue colour scheme, I thought RD-LC…..the difference being that I would have painted the rear wheel the same as the front. Just having the front in blue, really sends my ocd into overdrive 😂. So how long have you had your cough ? Cheers

It definitely won’t appeal to everyone, some of the colours are too “funky” for a start, but for those who have a dig at them for trying to be different (well as different as you can with two wheels, a frame and engine), is just being blinkered. Suggesting RE should just stick to Classic looking bikes, is a bit silly 😂 Cheers

Yes, really looking forward to the Guerrilla, though I don’t think it will be competition for the Goldstar. The Sherpa engine (Sherpa brings back memories of me delivering car parts in the late 70’s and early 80’s 😂), isn’t as quick as the 650 lump.

Yes, a lot of us learnt that one, Dino... I did, a bare 2 miles after I'd picked up my brand-new Jawa 250 from Pride & Clark in London, back in 1963. Darned thing nipped up on me and locked the back wheel. Still ride with my fingers on the clutch lever. By the way, back in 2015 the Classic Car Collection in Qawra had a very nice Kawasaki W1 on display. Just out of curiousity, would you know if they still have it?

@@chrisweeks6973 Really don't know Chris, but at our local bar on Sundays, we get an amazing mix of classic cars ,and bikes, all makes and all pristine! So i don't have to travel, or pay to view. They come and go like a relay, and generally drift off by lunch time. Seems you have 4or5 years on me! Do you still ride? I still do and enjoy it, having a choice of 5 , to ride as and when Circs apply.

I went there with an ex-RAF mate who was living in St. Paul's Bay. Re years, I'm 78; you? Yes, I still ride, an '05 Moto Guzzi Breva 750; just have the one - no space (or cash!) for any more. 😊

Thank you. I have been riding over 46 years, leaving my fingers hovering over the clutch, hark back to my two stroke days, a habit which is well and truly grained into my muscle memory. I am not actually pulling the clutch in, though it might look that way, as I have fitted adjustable levers on both the clutch and brake. Thanks for your concern though 😉

Life would be very boring if we all liked the same things 😂……. I don’t remember saying the 411 gearbox was better than the Classic 350 though 🤔

Thanks Martin. Ann’s “cold” did indeed turn out to be Covid, which she kindly passed onto me. I have been quite poorly with it, and it continues to linger, taking a while to bugger off 🤬. With LE living about 5 miles from me, it is almost inevitable that our paths will cross, but a collaboration will never happen, he didn’t like me giving him some constructive criticism about his riding speed on a busy road 😉😂 I didn’t know LE had done JBP, I did it a while back too. Btw, we are going to Blackshaw Moor Caravan and Motorhome Club site, arriving on the 5th leaving on the 8th. Thank you. A good idea ! A tip for you, as you have fitted extra electrical’s, your battery will be under a lot of stress (it doesn’t take much). I use plug in heated clothing in winter, so after some investigation (and watching another CZcamsrs video) I fitted LED headlamp and sidelight bulbs. @@ianhughesroyalenfield Have led in pilot lights and my H4 bulb is replaced with Osram night breaker (led) bulb and my aux lights is Puig 2.0 small aux lights use 30W butt i fited them last night and well spent mony they do the job i can tell you, and my aux lights is connected to an aux plug in head ligt case curtesy from Tiger ness that gave a heads up on that my aux lights onnly comes on when engine is running have a nice day 🙂

Yes, agree. Very odd that RE decided not to fit a centre stand to the Scram. The new Guerrilla has 17” front and rear’s, not the “Scram” type I was thinking of, but I was just trying to imagine what it might be, without knowing 😂. Having seen the Guerrilla, I can’t wait to get on one, and will as soon as they are released. Cheers

The 2nd hand market at the moment is flooded with almost new Himmys 411s and it's real bargain to get one now. Cheers, i'm watching your Himmy 450 adventures.
