A little video clip taken on a Pixfra Mile 2 M625 Thermal monocular, this small, lightweight thermal spotter is ideal for the wildlife enthusiast, fits in my trouser pocket and lets me keep enjoying the time outdoors even when the sun has gone down.

Out looking for Long Eared Owls last night, unfortunately there were non about whilst still light, luckily I had my Pixfra Mile 2, M625 thermal monocular with me for a bit of help seeing in the dark. Video is 75% speed, slightly cropped to help stabilise, the audio was recorded on my phone as no audio recording on the thermal.

Very nice. Your Brownings look good. Have you ever had issues with moisture inside the cameras?
Thank you@@OchoVerde not had any issue with moisture no, I did modify my HP4, I cut the baffle for the PIR sensor to allow earlier triggering and replaced the mic. as the original one failed.
Thank you Paul for sharing this video, I received my Pixfra Mile 2 M425 today, can't wait to go out into the field to try it out, love this video clip, it as inspired me to no end and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

That is a barn owl
nope.. tawny. got the stocky shape, and hard to see because of the lighting washing out the color, but it has streaks on the head
