Latina here who grew up in a Mexican household. As soon as we got up from bed, which was no later than 8am 😅, we had to get washed and dressed for the day. Those habits were instilled in me so even if we don’t go anywhere, I still get dressed for the day as soon as I get up from bed, or at least after breakfast. My kids have to get dressed for the day too. I’d we do go somewhere we won’t have to get ready for it because we’re already ready.
