As a lifelong resident of Jax Fla its sad to say local radio is dead the watered down version we have today has no compare to that of a live request station and real time announcers with a studio engineer keeping the transmitter right.
i remember the 70s when the grease-man was the DJ. those were the days!

I grew up here in Jax listening to 105. I think it was the Arf? that was on alot.The last few years of it went downhill on the music they played & shows. Feels like it went from a DJ doing there show to some corporate nitwit forcing this song on people. Also for the short time, Who remembers ZROCK 1460 am?

Nothing stays the same forever. The one thing in life that you can count on is constant change. You have to roll with the flow, bend with the wind. aka "suck it up and move on".
rock radio was killed off on purpose it could still be thriving
Still is in some places, JJO one of the best rock stations and still at it.
If the music was coming out of that computer, where was the loop coming from?
I believe Cox was the one that tool Rock 101 KLOL was mysteriously turned into a Latino music station with no notice. KLOL was on the air for 30 plus years and was Home to Stevens and Pruett.. It's the rock stations they seem to do this to.
I enjoyed watching this. I would want to see more.

Rock 105 was one of the first stations I listened to when I arrived in FL in 91. The good old days with Rick Tracy and Bradley Bacon, Joany Maverick...etc Sam Kovaris used to come on to do sports. Also The Classic Traffic Jam.
So fitting for Freebird to be the Final song for Rock 105 I grew up with that station. This was a sad day for me

what is your parametric and tube settings in the tuturial
I use the "Voice Thickener" preset on the Tube Modeled Compressor. The setting for the Parametric EQ is custom and looks like this across the bottom: L - 44Hz 11.6dB gentle roll off 1 - 74Hz -0.5dB 2 2 - 160Hz -1.5dB 2 3 - 1440Hz 0dB 2 4 - 3200Hz 0dB 2 5 - 7853Hz 3.5dB 2 H - 10419Hz 15.2dB gentle roll off This works really well because my mic is set super flat. I like to adjust the sound after recording.
