A Point of View video shot from high up on the front of a Motorhome as we travel from outside the Four Square store in Karamea out and along the coast to the Kohaihai DOC campsite. This is as far north as you can travel by road on the WestCoast of New Zealand.

I filmed with a Sony A74 camera and 600mm lens in 4x slow motion(100 fps). This is just from a couple of locations on the coast at East Clive and the Tukituki rivermouth in Haumoana in the Hawke's Bay of New Zealand. Some hardworking athletes in action near to the end of the marathon course.

I live surrounded by pukeko, also known as the Australasian Swamp hen. They are the most fascinating birds. Wonderful with their chicks and their their crèches. The most social of all birds i believe.

That brings back memories of visiting NZ in 2019 and 2022, have they finished the Kapiti expressway past Otaki yet? It must be one of the slowest builds on record, quite well on the way in 2019 and 2022 not much different. I quite liked Levin and visited an excellent classic car show there in 2019
