do another one I am online right now please respond pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
could you share a google sheet with 2 columns, one for the build name and next to it the bbplaner link? Im still using carvehole bbplaners from 3y ago kist because it is easier to check.
I dont have one
To sum it up, this build is fun but ultimately useless and better be avoided
Its a lot of Fun, but it struggles in a lot of Lategame fights and the Squishenes makes him vulnerable to bad luck.
@@tobsejoto and bad luck is what this game about
Ahaha... ok you get to the out dated part at 2m in. Nice. Deleted my comment then. Explain the fearsome part to me? Why no Fearsome procs with Daggers vs High armor targets work so strangely? It seems almost random... like vs Chosen I have a 10% Chance per hit... hits doing 40 Average Damage with 20% Armor Pen... but NO HP damage is done most the time and no fearsome proc is trggered. But the LOWER the Chosen or Orc Warrior Armor gets... like down to 120 mail... then suddenly the pens are happening as intended. Also works for my bros. I got all this fur padding but when I high armor little attacks don't pen much... even though there should be HP damage bleeding through constantly. Like sword and spear hits.
I think what you mean is the Damagereduction Throough BattleForge, your Hitpoint Damageand Armordamage is Reduced if youfight BattleForged or you have Battle Forge you receive signifcantly less Damage. You beat Chosen with High Armor Penetration weapons Like 2hand Hammers and Maces or 1Handed with Duellist, when you start Doing Hitpoint damage Through Armor you will see Hitpoint damage and Fearsomeprocs although its still unlikly on chosen because they have so much resolve.
@@tobsejoto Well what I am seeing is... Dagger Mastery... Qattal Daggers... 30-45 Damage 20% Armor Pen. No mater how you look at the math at least 1 point of damage should be bleeding through per hit. The 20% Armor Pen isn't even doing 1 point of damage until the armor value on the targets drops below 130ish. I have seen this fighting Nobel armies as well. No Fearsom or HP damage until they get to raider level armor. VS raider armor everything works as math says it should work... a small amount of HP damage per hit... fearsomes procing... checks out. Ork Warriors = Same mechanics... they are taking NO HP damage until armor levels hit about 130... then suddenly things start looking normal. Its very strange... and very consistant. Even my brothers work this way vs most low pen / low damage weapons... spears... swords... daggers for example. I am not sweating it to much because the Qattal Dagger Master Build is getting through that 300ish armor in about 3 turns of combat... and then everything is breaking and dying... And I have learned to Throw heavy Axes to lower the armor to 130 so the game starts working... but it is SUPER strange. Check it out on your end sometime if you like. Its SUPER consistant so definately a feature and not a bug. If you like I can share screen on disocrd or make a vid and post in my channel so you can see what I am seeing and hopefully help me suss it out.
@@pallytime2156 Hitpoint Damage is reduced by 10 % of your Current armor, that means an Orc warrior with 400armor would Ignore 40 Hitpointdamage, thats why it is so Consistent, with low armorpen weaponsyou do zero HitpointDamage until the Armor drops too low valueslike you said 130 or something like that .
@@tobsejoto Whoa whoa... Might have to go read that on BB Wiki then... I thought it was a % Based Reduction... aka 400 armor = 20% Damage (its 5% btw) I'll check it out
@@tobsejoto Damn just found Turtle225 perk guide... chad info there... that what you using?
nice meme run, i'm very fond of the "big hats and cloth shirts" build against orcs
I like how you completely missed the fact that the noble war ends, you get your "YOU WIN !!" event, but not before you successfully "patrolled" five heads worth of caravan hands from a faction that was hostile just a moment ago. norfern raiders doing their last raid exactly before everyone turns non-hostile, what a moment
I hear there's a very convenient perk just for surviving one bullshit roll that finishes your bro in one turn, I can't quite recall its name though
Nice
local man, and equipping the negative ranged defense guy in the back with 0 hp and all the resolve in rags so that they may get oneshot by any ranged enemy that's definitely the channel mainstay, it happens far too frequently
Brawny is really this bad? I was taking it on 90% of my guys, thought it's really good lol
Is not that bad i take it a lot on my Forge Bros, i think i should update my Perk guide
the attachment ambition is easy renown, especially because the +10 attachment that is commonly found is cheap and always useful (as it costs less than 200 crowns, and is +10 armor on any armor, which is always more than +0)
local barbbarian struggles to understand, fails to comprehend, how is it that i bring back the heads of an adjacent noble house (with whom there is no active war) and you do not pay me for them perhaps he should bring their heads on a platter too ? maybge . . .
Watching the serpents juggle your poor shepherd like a toy, really makes me want to see Orc Berserkers doing the same in the early turns of combat. Yes, I want to see orcs laughing their evil laugh, and tossing your bros into a mob of orcs - while you are helplessly watching. Greenskin invasion never felt so good!
Hallo
Hallo
Headhunter 2h hammers is one of the few times where crippling strikes is actually likely to do something useful, as turning minor head injury into Major head injury usually means a massive stat debuff. strangely this also makes Killer on the Run one of the most attractive backgrounds, for its innate +10% head hit if you have a spare perk then Quick Hands also combos very well with these shenanigans, as swapping to a 2h mace (the highest single-hit damage weapon, may I remind) with a guaranteed headshot after destroying their head armor has obvious benefits.
just started this game i love your guides you saved my run
Thanks keep faith its a hard but beatiful Game
I really like that some battles feel close to be unbeatable, now I can learn again ❤️
tobsejoto, awesome video it was really entertaining
There is a "Perk Planer Mod" on the Nexus which is pretty neat. You can mark perks with right click so you can plan your build for a brother when first looking at his stats, makes it much easier
i have it already
2:49 Yes, you absolutely can And he will be stronger than in vanilla, you need to have some luck regarding his perks though
i use Bro Editor (Breditor) for customizing my start, when installed press shift + X on worldmap to change almost everything
Yea😊
So as a rule should I should take melee defense on melee bros regardless of stars? In my current run I’ve been avoiding MDef on guys with high melee starting stats/melee stats and making them backline melee. Should I give them MDef anyway? It’s a peasant militia game.
Melee defense is the Best Stat in the Game i like to take on most Bros but for a Backliner that doesnt engage in combat, you dont have too if you want to Focus on other Stats
Im kinda new to the game. How u get more then 12 ppl in your roster in lone wolf campaign?
Its an Extra Starting Scenario from the Mod Extra Starting Scenario
Also surprised you use Steel Brow on BF bros. Headshots are 25% right and first they have to get through the massive armour? Would've thought it is more for Nimble builds.
Dying to Headshots is a big Problem of Battleforge that gets solved by Steelbrow
@@tobsejoto ok, I will try it. I think I have a wider problem anyway, cannot consistently win crises on veteran difficulty
@@StaalBurgher0 I wouldnt be surprised if you loose a bunch of Bros too Headshots:)
@@tobsejoto I should probably read the log! 🤣
I never see the value in Nine Lives. Usually when a brother dies it is because he is surrounded and I could not get him out. Or at least it might save him only once in ~70-100 fights. A perk point better used elsewhere?
It saves against DoubleHeadshots From big Weapons but other Perks might be better
When is a good time to move on from spears and swords and give your bros the good weapons
I tried Battle Brothers with high hopes and was disappointed.
the game has a Hard learningcurve, thats not for everybody
Hi @tobesoto as you asked for suggestions on a new run. How about you try the retirement home mod. It’s a origin mod that you start with retired soldiers, and every soldier you collect has the old trait. There is more to it too but I can’t remember the rest.
Looking into that more thanks for the Comment
Any mod recomendtion?
I made a wholeVideo about my Modsand how to get them
@@tobsejoto ur tips very helpful man thanks
I think the most obvious candidate for CS is shamshir duelist using gash. Gash lowers threshold by 50%, then you get another 33% out of crippling strikes. Since the damage threshold for injury is only 25% of max health on a decent number of injuries, further dropping that by so much means you can inflict injuries even through fairly heavy armor. Maybe okay on a throwaway brother. I think overall that the hammer + shield makes more sense, though I'm not sold by crippling strikes on "mace pleb that lives long enough to be hammer + shield guy". I think I'd rather put fearsome on it and mash stuff with the guaranteed 10 damage to proc fearsome up to twice per round. Then, if this guy is in some undead fight etc, could still contribute by just stripping armor. Executioner seems a lot more general purpose than crippling strikes, for the same reason you point out in the video: 2h weapons that are already useful for other reasons happen to inflict injuries with some frequency, and that 20% sometimes means one less swing to kill something you're focusing...improves overall rate of damage output of the company. Not as good as killing frenzy, but some builds can fit both and should consider it.
Idk personally i'm a fan of the handgonne, it's great for breaking morale, i don't see it as a dps weapon unless the enemy is unarmored
Yeah its personell preference, with fearsome and Overwhelm its a nice debuffweapon.
Good video but why 6mins of video for this ?
Net are working great against Alps and Nekrosavants ,they cant teleporting. Gruß
Thanks for making this video so quickly after I asked!
How do your target attributes differ between weapon loadouts? Or are some very similar, for example 2H axe, mace and hammer
I take always Attack and Defense and Split the rest. I want to have 85 Hitpoints and 40 Resolve the Rest i put into Fatigue and i like to take Brawny on lower Fatigue Bros. Axes and Flails are really Fatgue Efficent so you get away with lower Fatigue Values, on the other Hand Duellists and Cleavers are Incredible Fatigue Hungry and i aim for 70 Usuable Stamina on them with recover. Hammers and Maces are in Between Depending on how often you use the Secondary ability and the 2Hand Sword is Fatigue Intensive too, cause you want to use your AOE a lot.
I have been thinking for a while that the "throwing spear" is really a "pilum" based on how it actually works. Without the understanding that it specifically is meant to remove shields, it seems like a really weird weapon on paper (high damage, single use).
Looks like a pilum to me :)
although I agree that you shouldnt buy or craft fire and flash pots, the first is really good against huge nomad camps and the second rules in arena fights
Funny your first whatever ranged weapon is the acid flask I thought the same thing when I crafted them in the ranged only run lol
Perhaps its just me but it seems to me the more they want per day appears to reflect(to some degree) their usefulness in terms of rolls and traits.
Thats true Most Highborns have insane Posibble Basestats compared to Lowborns, but they are expensive and it might be betterto gamble on 20 Lowborns instead of 1 Highborn.
Hallo
You attack twice with two handed scimitar as well.
True
@@tobsejoto you have a sweet set up. I haven’t got past 200 or so days yet across many campaigns. Your builds seem almost foreign
@@shanekennedy5420 Just try them they are really fun
Named Orc Axes can seem like such a nice duelist weapon, but the demands to make them effective are too high. You need such a fatigue godbro to be useful and even then, a bro with brute trait and a Named Fighting Axe will still probably outperform with less demanding stats.
Thats true, they fatigue out so fast even in short fights and axe duellist are already very perk and stamina intensive
@@tobsejoto Exactly, the basic axe duelist build already asks so much from a bro that you really need an utter Chad bro to use the Orc Axe. And if you have a bro that good, are you really gonna make him a duelist? Probably not.
@@kylemolloy862 probably 2Hand Cleaver for a god Bro
