Loved seeing Valkyrik at the WV Renaissance Festival for the past 2 years. Your husband is an awesome act as well. Great at the vaudeville circus too. Hope to see both of your performances again.

To say I'm sad is an understatement. I look forward to seeing you at the Ohio Renaissance Festival and it won't be the same without you. Who can I share "battle and bloodshed" with if Valkyrik isn't there? However, I 100% understand needing time off the road and you deserve it. My husband and I are Ohio Rennies as well and Sam and Tegan are our favorite act so we can cry together in 2023 season huzzah (sadly)

Real actual genuine question: Why the HELL is there the first line of Uptown Funk in the last 10 seconds?? Why? Why is that in there? That doesn't belong there, why is it there
Fun story: When we were initially developing Valkyrik (as a renaissance festival stage act) we had a concept for a section of the show where we just randomly broke into theme songs from TV shows, then it got out of control and broke into pop songs. We ended up scraping the idea, but by the time that happened, we had already recorded this song which included that uptown funk section. It was supposed to be one last throwback to that moment in the show, as this is our closing song. Now it exists as a standalone moment of brevity for the audience despite the complete absence of that initial context.
