I was getting an "open ground" message on surge guard transfer switch, I was thinking I may have a brush problem in my cord reel. Looking at your video it seems like the ground may not have the same brushes. Is this correct? Where can I get the brushes? If I am going to tear into the reel to find the ground issue, I want to replace the brushes when I have it apart since my MH is over 15 years old and I think the reel is original.

Do you have a part # for the leveling hydraulic solenoid? Looks like a starter solenoid but on the reservoir.

THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO AND IS THE EXACT PROBLEM IM HAVING WITH THIS EXACT SAME UNIT....

I’m looking to put a soft start on my window unit because I’m running a good distance from sure power on an extension cord. To keep from tripping breaker. If it’s a 6k btu…does that mean I need a 6k Btu soft start? Would say a 15k soft start work on a window unit that’s smaller. I also want to be able to run off a generator. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m having hard time looking all this up as I’m not versed in the language of air conditioning.

I have a HWH 110 stoped working no lights on control board was working perfectly until some days would stopped working but then it would work but now it completely stoped no power to board

What is the full route of air? Air from outside is sucked in by the top fan … and that also pushes it over to the cooling side? Then from cooling side back over to circular fan that’s underneath large top fan… and down through duct and pushed into the rv…. ???

It amazes me how the tiniest little part or orifice can disable a 26,000lb. rig.

Wow a full year for $150.00. Great price. So here we go. I bought a 1999 Rexhall 36 foot with 19,220 miles. so needless to say, it has sat a lot. Right now it is sitting with one of the slides unable to close completely because the flooring was replaced, and a crap job was done and it is holding the slide from closing. The old owner kept trying to force it to close with the hydraulics until the pump stopped. Now when you turn on the Hyd power at the key and try to engage the system it just clicks. What would be your approach at trouble shooting? About me: I am mechanically inclined having built several frame off hot rods and 15 Harleys I do have a complete shop and tools. How ever due to a injury I got while serving in the Army my short term memory is not so good always helps to have written or video instruction. I pride myself in saying I can fix anything and a job well done. This is the first Class A motorcoach I have ever owned and decided to take this project on to challenge myself and have a beautiful unit to use at the races and bike rally's and of course take my grandkids camping. I am going to become a paid member and look forward to working on this of course with your expert help. I have got to get this slide closed living in Florida its the start of hurricane season and the rain is going to destroy this slide. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me on this matter.

Hi i have a 93 southwind couch with hwh leveling system. The leveling system was working perfect last year but not working now i checked everything and findout there is no voltage on the hydraulic motor solenoid if i push any levelers button i checked everything but can't find the problem any help will appreciate it Thanks

Great video for the troubleshooters. My system worked flawlessly for years - then after a bumpy road I keep blowing my ACC fuse on my HWH control box. Not sure if I have a 610 or 310 model. I plan on getting after it this week.

I have a 45xl unit what the flame will not stay burning without pulling a little bit on vacuum on the exhaust. I've cleaned the fuel nozzle; I've checked the compressor, and it has a stainless-steel head on it. I tried taking off the muffler, thinking it was clogged. It run fine with just a bit of vacuum on the exhaust. (I used the wet and dry vacuum.)

Both of these switch below control the power reels with the ability to release the cord so you can pull it out. When switch is broken the head or your plug can get caught when the reel is fully wound up. A quick fix in an emergency is to reverse the polarity of the switch and the motor will reverse the spool so you can unwind it. The replacement switch for my 2021 Redwood are Southwire MH3031 Marine Switch Kit (original switch) or Southwire RV3100 RV Switch Kit. Found them on eBay.

We always used a fine "Emery cloth" to clean slip rings and/or commutators on DC motors.

How hard are parts to find for that Era of coach?

this system may be similar to my 03 Monaco Knight...so i am interested in replacing those spools with the correct oring and teflon seal. My front jack bleeds down after a day or two... no external leaks--just back to the pump.

Great stuff Jeff. Thanks for all you do. Our 2003 Newmar has HWH leveling system with springs which pull the jacks back up so I'm guessing they are single acting spool valves. So far we haven't had any problem except for a couple of times when the switch on the Hwh control panel got glitchy and the store button wouldn't work sometimes. I watched your video of you working on one and taking that controller panel out which gave me the push to open mine up. I cleaned the switch with Deoxit and it's been perfect ever since. Can you help me I haven’t had my fridge working for a year! I was told it was the thermal switch but that didn’t make since with the symptoms

After freeze few weeks ago,, Having all kinds of Problems with fridge&freezer, 3 way 2582 dometic (2018), boiler gets hot, thermister seems good with ohm test, Absorption coils Cold...is there a way to tell if power control board (module) is bad?? No smell, no yellow??
