A good film, but it could have been better. The authors were too afraid of hurting the homosexual men's feelings. As a result Michael's new life is simply shown not enough, too shortly. But there is too much of his ex-boyfriend who appears even within the last three minutes of it. Too much of political correctness, I would say.

I have always been mixed about this movie. People can be whatever they want. God would not judge. Never should! Gay and straight. He sounds like being gay isn't right. He should be whatever he is happiest being.

Wow! This film is phenomenal. I identify as an "ex gay"...or because that term is triggering for some... maybe no longer gay identifying is better (neither hetero or homo, I don't love the term bi) man focused only on heterosexual dating these days. It is awesome to see a movie that I can personally relate to. Thanks for uploading it. It's hard to find it streaming in Canada.

Why is homophobia related to religion? Are there no atheist homophobes? The word "homophobia" is quite silly. Most people who hate aren't afraid. "Anti" would be more appropriate... What a sickening and disgusting man. He was not a scientist, he was a perverted sicko!

It's heartbreaking to see someone who wants to spread love and reconcile the enemies that almost any kind of non-conformist (in the eyes of society) identity and religion have been for so long, and then see that person become so overwhelmed and haunted by fear, anxiety and societal pressure. He ended up going against the very message he was trying to send at the beginning. The irony is that he wouldn't allow himself the same thing he wanted for other people. To preserve his faith while also being himself. He thought that he cannot be accepted as a Christian the way he was, even though he was the one who pointed out how wrong that is and that such divisions shouldn't exist in the first place. It's just so sad. Why didn't he realize that he was already on his own path and that he was helping many people, just like he wanted? Being religious didn't have to change anything. In fact, he could've just been even more inspired by those messages of love he found in the Bible and rest assured that his path of doing good wouldn't bother God in the slightest. I'm not a religious person, but I am aware that there are many people who see faith as something very important in their life and yet also feel that they are not allowed to be who they truly are because of the ostracism and hate they might face within that very religion they so want to be a part of. The very end really shows how devastating all that is. The way his facial expressions change... I watched that part many times, even though it's really painful. You can see just how his sense of identity is completely shaken and that the path he "chose" for himself won't actually bring him any peace. I don't know why some people see the movie as promoting conversion attempts through religion and whatnot, when it seems the exact opposite to me. I loved it!

And we celebrate this ideology today 🤢
