happened to me in London for some morning shots: ISO was on "Auto", bumped the dial on my X-T2, so the following shots were ISO "HI" - but luckily no one did not notice :)

Could you not just ge a cheap 35mm film scanner/digitiser instead of a DSLR?

It’s amazing to me how some people made claims that this camera was so good! It was horrible! We ended up changing to Canon because the image quality and the lack of support from Nikon left us with no choice.

First time seeing your videos, and for some reason I spotted something that I might've made in this particular video. From 3:30 ; the camera surveillance unit behind the fence that says "Kooi(Security) 247kooi.com" has a galvanized, steel-frame that I made literal thousands of while working for the outsourced engineering/construction firm that Kooi Security uses for those constructions. This was in the Netherlands, Friesland to be specific. Aside from that; great video, this made me put the D2x on the want-list next to the D3 (and many other camera's) , especially since my latest camera is a D700 and I'm slowly building a nice F-mount lens collection next to my EF kit. You've got yourself another subscriber!

When it’s all just editing why are you even shooting in IR, just make a normal photo and edit it to these blue red colors? Oh you mention it at the end. Yeah pls experiment and explain it a bit more

Same same, I've been wanting to shoot Infrared photos for the longest time. I know on Fujifilm cameras you actually get recipes that can take Infrared with R-72 Filter jpegs straight out of camera.

I had to subscribe after seeing this.👍 I recently switched to GFX from full frame and figured out pretty quickly that I can shoot IR without a tripod and it looks great. My old Canon would need like a loooong exposure and looked awful at high ISO. I've been on the fence about getting an IR converted camera for years, so that was an extremely exciting surprise. I"m amazed that this is the first time I've seen anybody else mention it.

Interessantes Video, Felix und man sieht dir den Spaß daran an. Für mich etwas zu viel Arbeitsaufwand zumal ich PS momentan auch nur auf dem Tablet nutze und die benötigten Dateien somit auch gar nicht installieren könnte. Eine ganz kleine Anmerkung… du redest wahnsinnig schnell, dadurch fand ich dich manchmal nicht ganz gut zu verstehen.

im using X99 motherboard with xeon.. which is no igp on it. but got 2 slot for pcie, can i use low profile amd card for display only (bcs no igp on xeon) and use k80 for compute engine and rendering

I own a converted camera only because seller thought it was broken and sold it for pocket change . Just a fun way to spice up a landscape shot

best camera for infrared is the Sigma SD quattro (or Sigma SD Quattro H, basically the same camera with APS-H sensor instead of APS-C) It has a removable IR cut filter, so you can take IR images without the drawback of having to open super wide or use very slow shutter speeds. And once you're bored of it, just pop it back in ! Sigma DSLRs (SD9, SD10, SD11, SD14, SD15 and SD1) also have this ability, but those cameras are DSLRs, and they don't have Live View. So when you're puttin your R72 filter on your lens, you don't see anything in the viewfinder. You need to compose and focus the shot in the viewfinder without the filter, then screw the filter in and then take the photo. That's why IR conversions were much more popular than full spectrum conversions back in the DSLR days. The SD Quattro is a mirrorless camera, so no such problem, you can compose and shoot with the EVF even with the R72 filter on

I am a professional Portrait-Photographer since over 20 Years now an i own 2 of them.. .since 9 Years..yesterday 1500 Photos on a Short-WeddingJob. They dont let me down. I needed 2 Years to configurate them to my needs. And yes, i think this Camera is still overkill for the mayority of photograpers (included so called Professionals). Beste Grüsse.
