A gray and rainy day at the Slough. My gear and I got thoroughly soaked but it was totally worth it because I had a very special and close encounter with a sea otter I named Quasimodo. We can either hear nature, that was recorded with the video, or we could hear random music. Hearing nature; hearing the sounds that match the scenes, is better. I doubt that anyone at those parks, visiting the animals... I doubt that anyone would be playing music. They would be taking it all in -- sights, smells, and sounds. For the "you are there" experience, the sound from the events should be kept. No need to enhance nature.
Hi, thanks for your comment. I agree, I would rather listen to the nature sounds also. However, this particular location is right on a very busy highway (Hwy 1) and the traffic noise is very intrusive and would render the video unwatchable. The added music track serve to alleviate this problem. Thanks again.
