Had some good times dumpster diving actually

I've always been a thrifty person and have no problem grabbing up something that I see out to the road waiting to be trashed and I have no problem shopping at thrift stores, I find better stuff there, then in stores. I've always found 100s of dollars in scrap out to the road. I've found a like new lawnmower,weed Wacker, slightly used tires for my car, a really nice big microwave.. so many things. Someone threw away over a hundred pounds of lead ingot's so, took em to the scrap yard and with some other metal I found I got almost 100 bucks from just one person's stuff they were throwing out. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed to get money from doing stuff like that.

Well I did! My very 1st memory of My Grandpa is of My Daddy & I going to pick him up but when we got there I asked “ Where’s G-pa?” Daddy drove around back of the shopping mall & suddenly there he was but all I could see were My G-pa’s legs hanging out the dumpster! lol I thought that dumpster was trying to gobble him up but suddenly out he popped with a box full of stuff. He tossed it in the truck bed,hopped in & off we went! So began my luv for trash treasure hunting & the thrill of a good find! To this day it’s a favorite past time of mine!
