Doses of Achievement Hunter "2.5"
Welcome to (what would’ve been) Doses of Achievement Hunter 3, a project where 25 selected Achievement Hunter videos are put into a compilation featuring best bits (more than one, less than nine) of each video. Pretend it's September 2021 for an ideal viewing experience.
At the beginning of July 2020, Phoenix and I got together to do a collaboration video. This would end up being a “Best of x” for his channel and “Doses 3” for my channel. We chose to work on Doses first and started on July 14th, 2020. Our initial window was to release it by August but we succumbed to time delays. On September 7th, we had our first draft together and were approaching the final touches. This multi-month long project was this close to coming to fruition! And then on October 6th, Ryan Haywood got fired from AH sparking a giant controversy. The climate made it impossible to release a new compilation featuring clips of him, so the entire project was fully scrapped and cancelled.
After a year had passed, we got the motivation to bring Doses 3 back to life. We had the idea over the Summer of 2021, but with the Social Disorder video in-production we wouldn’t start work again until July 19th. Progress was slow but still steady. With us both working on several other videos to maintain our upload schedule it was hard to fully dedicate time. It would eventually start to fizzle out around early September and inevitably cease production late-October.
But this brings us to today. I found a video in my CZcams Studio containing all of my clips I was going to contribute to the project (13 of the 25 total videos). I figured there would be some people out there that would like to see this time-locked relic. And now with Achievement Hunter being formally disbanded, I figured there's a niche market looking for a small nostalgia kick. So I did the extra digging and found the original Doses 3 Project File on an old hard drive. I then polished the clips that I had and put them into the Doses format and… here we are.
I hope you enjoy half of what would’ve been the third installment of Doses of Achievement Hunter 3, slated to originally release in August of 2020 and then Fall of 2021.

      Jeremy brought that Boston temper in him and he would vehemently refuse to back down from an argument or admit he’s wrong. Chill Jeremy makes great content but angry Jeremy is napoleon complex overdrive. That’s a personality that absolutely clashes with Ryan who also had a stick up his ass (speaking of within-AH content only because the elephant in the room is a whole other story altogether that Jeremy had nothing to do with)

In the actual vid the lads stayed quiet while Alfredo was telling the gents what to do (even tho Ryan still felt the need to add his own funny(?) comments and interrupting Alfredo). But when it came to the lads own instructions he wouldn’t let them hear it and felt the need to talk over them to ‘make a good video’ and when he gets rightfully called out on it he goes ‘oh no my attempt at conversation is just as important and he explained MY part already’ Could they have told him in a nicer way to shut the hell up? (Even tho Michael did just that). Yeah probably but Ryan was def in the wrong here and purposefully being difficult to ‘make a good video’.

      @@shooterDisease Looking back on it, while Ryan was definitely in the wrong for screaming at everyone and for letting them explain his part but not everyone elses, in the big picture, he does kinda have a point. People liked watching achievement hunter for the personalities of the hosts, to watch a bunch of friends fool around and have a good time playing video games even though they're always messing up and stumbling over eachother. If people wanted to sit and watch someone explain the newest destiny raid before watching a flawless execution of it, there's hundreds of other channels out there they could go to. But watching a bunch of goofballs panicking and messing up and laughing about it is why they came here. Now that it's all over it's clips like this, or compilations of oops moments that people keep coming back to, not the raids themselves or a "best runs" compilation or some such. Now, that being said, yelling at everyone in the middle of the video, on camera, while they're trying to record, is absolutely not the way to do it so he definitely deserved to get shouted down. It's something to suggest in-between recordings.

It's always surprises me like damn Michael is being the most mature out of the bunch while Ryan was acting like a child.
