I have a real old set of patio chairs with the vinyl straps inserted in deep slots. I do not want to change the installation. Do you have a video showing what cut to make to ensure the deep slot can still be used without rivets?

I have 2 old cast iron with rubber webbing that has hardened and broke. There are small slits there the old straps fasten inside of the sides of the tube framed seat. Is there a kit.

My slings seem to migrate down an inch or so after a year or two. Any tips for pulling the sling back up to it's original position. I've unbolted one side but the sling doesn't want to slide.

Hi! Does it matter if the original vinyl was single or double-wrapped? My chairs are double-wrapped and I'm curious if there's any reason they shouldn't be single-wrapped instead.

Great video but my rivets became too soft in the boiling water and did not hold. Had to redo 8 straps. Maybe rivets were too cheaply made

Ahhhh... the trick is hot water. Have to redo mine but this time adding 3 cross straps because the front one always deforms quickly when sitting and the cushion gets pushed into the slot gap. Was just going to make a hard platform but this seems easier now.

Wish you could come do my bench. I have a gliding metal bench that has the mesh for the seating and the back. The mesh has ripped on the seats. I don't think I'm going to be able to fix it.🤦🏻‍♀️

Does heavy duty nylon webbing work to repair the chair, even though the original material was vinyl? I want something that won't stick to my skin if I can't get a cushion, and polyester seems to fit the bill. I just don't know how well it works, although the size and price are comparable to vinyl.

Thank you! I got some and even though it seems like the diameter was cracked. I couldn’t get them on with the ridges around as our chair feet were so tight but apparently with a bit of persuasion aka brute force with a hammer, I’ve finally been able to get the blasted things in!!!
