Didn't learn much but enjoyed the dialog 😊
Can you tell me what's the hose that is located underneath the power steering pump pulley. Mine is cut short with a screw in the hose and a clamped end. Thanks in advance
quick question. One time i was detailing our 2007 volvo xc90 v8 sport package and i popped the hood and the engine cover was black you coudnt see the logo so i cleaned the engine with a little of water and scrubbing and it is shiny. Should i be concerned about the balance shaft after that. I didint know about it until now
It was really only an issue on 2005 and very early 2006 models so you should be fine!
@@CaReviewsOGthanks
Apparently, I just bought a 2008 XC90 V8 Executive. It has the brushed steel mirror caps and C-pillar molding with the badge but does not have many options. The main thing I wanted was heated seats for wife and the V8. Also, the balance shaft issue on the 2005 and early 2006 engines is a major problem. It will make an awful rattle in the early stages of failure and if that is not repaired, complete engine failure is likely as the timing chain could break or jump time. Once the repair is made, the V8 will be dead reliable.
Yeah I miss the one I had, they’re amazing cars!
I fell in love with the Volvo V8 as a Volvo technician when those engines were new. I’m happy to have one in my driveway.
Stupidest narration I've ever heard. Unwatchable. Thinks he's funny. Not at all
If you're going to do a review, do a review. No BS that you have to add to try and be funny
Oh, so do a review just like every other person out there? Not how we do things around here Gene. I did this for me, not for you my guy 🤷🏻♂️
This was an amazing video lmaoooo
How many miles does it say?
I genuinely don’t know, I want to say this has about 126k miles on it
go get it a life man what kind of shitty ad is this???
This review is Gold 🤌🏽😌✨
Не правильно назвали надо КУ
I strongly disagree with you, this car has at least 10 years of live left in it, , I would happely give you 400 dollars for it
What's funny if I wanted comedy? I'd go to a club this a wasted video.
And this is a wasted comment. NEXT
@careviews5682 Can't be wasted cause (YOU)... replied to it... Now next... keep moving.
@ the fact that you made a comment already means I won 🤷🏻♂️
@careviews5682 Ok...Mrs.Lady you're a woman who obviously needs to win..ok you got it Ma'am I surrender 🤣. It's alright
@ you make living so much fun 😃
Just bought one for $600 lol. Clean title and 73k miles, picking it up tomorrow hope it’s half decent
Nice. One of my fav si.
Do you think it’s smart to get a 2016 Hyundai Elantra limited sedan 4d in 2023? Or should I look for another car
I don’t comment on shit! This is gold lmao😂😂😂
I believe the valve body issue was a 2007 and early 2008 issue. As i believe that the tf80 was first used in 2007 updated mid 08'. Before 07 it was a5 speed aisin, or if you were unlucky enough to have a t6 the gm 4 speed which needs fluid changes about every 40,000 miles of not more
Are those the rims the truck came with? They look pretty basic for a 2023 model year. I'd get some bling bling spinner rims imagine.
I actually like the steel wheels lol 😂
So no more reviews?
I will be doing new reviews soon! Life has just been really crazy and haven’t had time for new content outside of TikTok 😢
@@CaReviewsOG What's your thoughts on RCR these days? I know your channel kinda used to parody him. I think he's kinda lost his charm.
@@SgtSnazzerino There were some reviews he did that were like so perfect, but it’s like every other video he does is just bleh
@@CaReviewsOG I miss the edgy humor of the old days.
Love the yellow 🐦
Miss ly sister and meco too
Wasn't this car built with heavy duty brakes for it's driving differents.
Yepp! Brakes, cooling system, and a couple other things were reinforced for severe duty conditions
I need to change the turn signal / window wiper handle on this. I can't find a channel for help
2:07 wth💀
Haha this guy is funny
Is there a way to enable this via OBD2 port?!
Is the maintenance expensive on the v8's?
Solo hay que estar al tanto .
1:31 I purchase from the dealer new a two door non turbo stick shift that looked like this. Same Viking Battle Wheels but mine was silver. It was the only two door hardtop for sale new in Southern California. I put 240,000 on it.
You are so corny 😢
3:30 car squidward
i just got one of these solidaf
A real loser channel…
Shout out to RCR
Nothing but the best
Good review & great Sentra.
I think if you pick up 2 seats from junkyard and new passenger carpet and radio, you'd have an okay car! Though the airbag issue is deal breaker in my opinion. Those cars have airbags recall so I'm curious if the error would be solved after the recall work is done. Also stupid stuff like unplugging climate controls with the battery still connected trips the srs light, and you need a really good scan tool to reset it
This car needed so much and it wasn’t worth saving so it was scrapped
I'm not sure if the 2001 and 2002 transmissions are different, but I heard some of the early transmission problems can be solved by replacing a part of it that costs $800 or something around there. So not as bad as replacing the whole transmission afaik.
Oh yeah updated b4 servo apparently and it's cheaper than what I said above, like $50 and you gotta change the fluid and update the software
But it could be a worse problem than the cover. Just wanted to throw it out there
I looked into all of those issues but these just really aren’t worth saving sometimes!
Can you please provide an update. Did that solve the electrical issue?
Sadly that did not solve the issue as the main issue was the wiring harnesses for the fuel injectors were mismatched, causing all sorts of issues!
@@CaReviewsOG I had a similar issue due to the engine being swopped. All incorrect readings, bad gear ratios, throttle issues... Until u sort it out.
I have a Volvo S80 V8 from 2007 and I never have proplem
I ordered my XL ecoboost area 51 with fullsize spare in September and it is arriving to the dealership today or monday - only thing I want to add is some fog lights and maybe winter tires
A fleet of Volvos... and a FERD truck. 👍
You truly do love that car - you sounded so emotional at the end! 😢 What a finish to a well-written ode! I have been driving my new 2001 v70 for five days now, each bringing my increasing awe and respect for this car. I begrudgingly retired my 1994 940 and didn’t want a “newer” Volvo. But though my dad is a Volvo whisperer, he’s tired of working on the older cars and wanted me to upgrade. So I gratefully remembered all the nice things that man does for me and obliged. I’m aware of the potential transmission nightmare my mom went through with her 2002 xc70, but I am so far surprised and delighted by this low mileage gem, and I look forward to the comfortable, reliable driving experience to come. And I will definitely think of your video sometime in the future when I catch myself smiling while driving it, and I will feel a great sense of camaraderie!
I have a 03 malibu as my first car and it’s truly a great car. It drives good in all weather whether it be snow, pouring rain or icy conditions
i was going to go look at this car to buy but now im for sure buying it
I pulled one home a few days ago.
Hi I have the same car I don’t know which size brake pads and rotor to buy for it help please
There should be only one size for it! Check with your local parts store like Autozone or Advance Auto
I'm wondering about getting rid of my taco and getting the v8...do you recommend the v8 or not really? Thanks
If you’re gonna buy an XC90, the V8 is the way to go!
Nice car, nice review, but who came first, you or RCR?
RCR most definitely came first!
Holy shit you're annoying
saw a 2006 BMW 330i with only 53,000 km on it. asking price was $12k in Ontario. What do you think about it?
That seems like a ticking time bomb, especially with the coolant system. Like why does it have such low mileage?
I’ve heard this model year is pretty reliable? I’d like a low mile 06 cooper. Got 272,000. out of the dead one. So I’m also curious of this.
@@phrasedeyebro3255 they’re not really reliable unless you’ve got maintenance records!
