Hate to be THAT guy but technically it's not 1st person it's 3rd just with a quarky camera.zoomed all the way up the players ass pretty much. And also, I agree for the most part that a true 1st person view in racers more often than not just hinders the game play with a few exceptions.. for one, another budget bin PS2 title that gets lots of shit reviews but that I actually like is Super Trucks Racing it's like being in that view makes your truck physically smaller and you don't clip little corners and get hung up on the dumbest little obsticals idk why but it's just how it is. Also nascar 2009 (the only nascar I have played) isn't bad either. Really, I think this game is kinda cool it's like a generic star wars pod racing game that is more like what I would think pod racing would be like than the actual star wars pod racing games themselves... I can imagine it would be kinda hard to maintain control of something like that going 800 fuckin mph... Hard fuckin core dog. 🙀
