I find carrot cottage is a successful enjoyable toy for dwarf hamsters.
Aww just had to have my Russian dwarf put down a few hours ago who had this condition, he had become shaky and weak. But, he was over 2 year old and had a lovely life and was loved.

Hi i have a question for you can the mini duna hamster cage fit a 30cm hamster wheel? Or 20c5cm? And will it be okay to use for a syrian hamster?
No unfortunately its far too small for a syrian hamster. I haven't owned these cages in years I threw them out a long time ago so I can't remember what size wheel they can fit.
Can this cage fit a 35cm hamster wheel
I threw the cage out years ago but if I remember correctly it would only just fit a 20cm wheel in.

Hi, I just did the same. They say to put two pipettes on a sirian hamster but with only one he's wet like crazy. Was everything OK when u used this spot on?
Looks an amazing set up đđx I would have the thermostat and thermometer probes secured together)by a bit of wire) the way you will get the temperature of the actual spot where the stat is, đđx

the range looks like it stocks some real nice toys / boredom breakers . the nearest store to me is about 7 -8 miles away ...i see a nice day out soon and looking around myself .[ need to find out the buses that go that way ..lol .]
As i can say i did went to the vet but...the vet said they does not have any cure for my hamster..i dont think my hamster would make it..

If you do a quick search on the internet it should tell you where the nearest stores are to you all of them are big companies In the UK with loads of shops all over the place :)
wilko has been bulking up the pet side of their stores and have quite a few hamster / small pet items now in stock . when you go to b & m ask one of the staff to check out back in the stock room for the hay if not a lot on the shelves , we always do as sometimes they have just not had the time to put out all the hay and the assistant has fetched out bags of hay for us ....it's worth asking especially if you use a lot of it .

I went in just on the off chance as i was passing but usually they only have 5 or 6 small animal items at any one time, the lady I spoke to said they were getting more new animal products so hopefully yours may be the same too soon :)
i enjoy haul videos and like seeing all the different toys etc. you get for your animals .a good mix of things from various places.

two of my favourite things ...a sale and pets at home . great haul you got some real bargains for your pets .
the carrot gnaws are dangerous, they are made from sawdust and honey which can cause blockages in the digestive system if eaten. My hamster unfortunately died from having that carrot chew and the same orange and green bridge
I know i realised after purchasing them and doing a bit of research it's awful how they didn't state what they are made out of on the label otherwise I'd never have bought them, I'm so sorry to hear about your hamster đx
THE CARRIT KNAWS ARE TOXIC! THEY CONTAINS SAWDUST IF INGESTED THEY CAN DIE

great haul ....we can tell that you love to spoil your pets and buying them all these enrichment toys is great . i will have to have a look around at my local b&m store as those flower forage bars looked so nice and at a reasonable price to .

Hi Laura to keep the boys together seperate room from the girls and donât mix scents eg toys play pens etc and then bare minimum for 2 boys I would say is a ferplast 140 which is 140x70 and then Iâd say litter tray with hay cramped in helps distract during their hormonal phase massively
They'll be going in a split shed soon so will have about 3ft x 4ft square of space (if it works the way we want it to anyway) so they will have plenty of roaming space with access to a run outside for the warmer months. I've kept boy piggies before so hopefully these two will be just as easy as the last ones đ we've had these 4 little ones for about a month now and touch wood we've not had any issues with their hormones yet but we're fully prepared for when it happens đ

@@LaurasLittleZoo me too, I think you were called lawarawr on there? I always remember you having a hamster heaven! Not bad thanks, how olds your little lad? My daughters 13 now. Weâve just had a 2nd dog, 4 month old pup. Itâs like living in a mad house lol xx
Hahaha yes I remember being lawarawr on almost every animal platform đ€Łđ. Aww bless I love the puppy stages they're so inquisitive. My lad turned 3 in February x

So cute! It's amazing what they can adapt to. We have a large parrot and our rabbits barely bat an eyelid when she's loud, and she can be LOUD! lol
it is Indeed amazing, alot of people think its not possible for them to adapt but personally we've never had any issues. Ohh I'd love a parrot one day but not just yet think we've got enough on our hands with the 29 animals we have đ

i also find aldi has the best prices on fruit and veg and shops like b&m and home bargains are great places to shop too .
some pets that are great for children under 10 and are very cheap and easy to take care of: - moss balls - aqua dragons / sea monkeys - triops - pet rocks any other animals / pets should NEVER be brought if you do not have the right care or do not have the effort to buy the proper setups.
