Cutting cabinet parts with a cnc router

Using a CNC router to drill and mill our custom cabinetry parts. This machine is drilling for adjustable shelf holes, drilling for pilot assembly holes, and milling the exact shape of the parts. Definitely one the coolest machines to watch in our shop.

    Did you look into Chinese cnc machines before buying a European machine? I’m in the purchasing process right now and am leaning heavily to Chinese at about third of the cost.

      Everything I buy from china breaks. Biesse is Italian and I would consider it the Ferrari of manufacturing tools. If you are buying to use everyday, don’t go cheap. If you plan on only using every so often, that’s a different story. I appreciate the question!

    Set up an auxiliary manual vacuum tube so you don't have to blow off spoil board and keep making a mess! We had a Holtzer. Love vacuum tables!

    how do you clamp the work piece

    • @ryanscabinetry
      @ryanscabinetry Před 2 lety

      We have a large vacuum creating suction through holes in our spoil board (top) . This suction is powerful enough to suck through multiple sheets of mdf fiberboard

    how much would one of those Rovers cost now? and do you recommend them even though they're an older model? thank you

      I really don’t know the market nowadays. I know the technology is getting less expensive every year for new ones. I would get in contact with a professional tool dealer and they will be able to direct you to new and used machines like this. One company is called Professional Machinery Group. Frank Diaz is the best sales rep for them

      @@ryanscabinetry sorry, I meant for the one you have. How much could you pick one up for now and if it’s worth it because of its age. I seen the new 2021 ones are upwards of 100k 😱

      i highly recommend Biesse to everybody who asks. My biesse CNC machine is over 10 years old and the quality is absolutely amazing. you get what you pay for with these machines, although prices have significantly dropped from ten years ago. I will be doing some vlogging at the AWFS in Las Vegas at the end of the month. i will make sure to take some footage of whats new out there and post. thanks for the comment!
