Tim A. Bogenschutz Creative Imagery is a lifelong passion and now a full time hobby. Retiring from a profession of marketing and publishing, I worked in the newspaper and multi-media outdoor industries. With an interest in photography, it was never a part of my job descriptions. Instead, capturing images of creatures inhabiting the beautiful outdoors was my antidote to a crazy pace of life. It is the reason 25 years ago we build a remote "boat to" cabin in the north woods. What better place to take pictures than a pristine lake in Northern Minnesota.
Though I never considered myself a professional, I've constantly strived to improve my creative talents. But it's the addiction to the outdoors, capturing images of nature's raw beauty, then sharing them with outdoor enthusiasts that’s so satisfying. Especially if it’s with those, who for whatever reason, are limited to nature's world. My standard response to those complimenting my work is..."the best part is I had to be there!"
