No disrespect to Ed, he's a great singer/songwriter. He didn't know the chords to the song though and raised the tempo, probably because of the crowd and setting. That sucked the soul out of Damien's song.

Yes. But it’s frustrating because it seems like he doesn’t notice. Seems “too much” into his music--heard that’s what pushed Lisa away...
There's this thing in our lives: Something in exchange for something. We always wondered where this unexplainable beauty he gives us through music is coming from and I think the things he had sacrificed is a major part of it. Not that I'm glad it happened. If anything, I'll gladly accept a world without his music in exchange for his happiness. I adore him so much. But not gonna lie, that world will feel empty.
