If my gel is a new bottle but is sticky and won’t swoop swoop, can I use a drop of acetone to thin it?
Woow, this looks very easy 👏🏾😍 I hope one day I can do it like this🤞🏾
Practice practice practice!!
The left hand is looking pretty too!
Awe thank you 🥰
❤❤❤❤
Good ❤❤❤
i love that you said "dont touch the damn skin!!!" it really cant be overstated how important it is to avoid skin contact with gel, nobody likes contact dermatitis😂
Right?! Gotta protect the client and make them pretty!
How does the chrome not stick to the topcoat so you can wipe it off? Do you buff the topcoat?
I buff before I apply the top coat that I want to have the chrome stick to. So everywhere else is buffed and then the top coat is the only thing the chrome will stick to. Does that make sense?
Pretty 😍 🥰
Thank you! 🩷
Where can I buy this?
The Gel Bottle website but you need a certification to get access to buy.
Ooooooh I recognize these nails😂 This was what I picked as my favorite set in your short showing sets you've done with prices. Gorgeous, love these😍😊
Ahhh! Thank you so much! 🩷
Wow, that is so pretty😍😊
Thank you so much
Do you use top or base coat for chrome and do you cure it fully? 😊
Top coat. Cured 60 seconds. I used to do 45 seconds but found it was never even enough. After applying chrome I file the edges so when I top coat again it sticks to the edges.
I never thought I would say this but without chrome for this one😊
Oooooh Ive never seen the blue cross, would you recommend it? Are there any others that you think are worth trying?
For cuticle oil I’ve also used Cuccio and it’s good. I’ve also made my own!
🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤣🤣🤣Thank you! I have had a few nail techs tell me this, can't fool me... except when I was 15 and believed the lady in the wal mart nail salon 20 yrs. ago🤣 This is one of the main things I want everyone to know😊
Its hard to choose😭 Ill go with number one😊
Is that builder gel or color gel polish?
Builder gel.
🤨 what’s the point of of learning techniques from a hand that’s so dusty and unclean. There’s going to be so much lifting.
Looks may be deceiving. I always clean the nail with alcohol prior to applying product. As long as the nail is dust free my product sticks. I’ve never had any issues. 🤷🏽♀️ Don’t confuse the nail being dry and looking chalky with dusty.
What base did you use before all in one biab clear? Did u use rubber base or just normal gel base? . Today I did a client with all in one biab clear. But I forgot to put base . Don’t know if it will lift soon
This is a two in one product that she used so she used the BIAB as the base coat😊
@@amberlynn8591you mean she didn’t use anything else? Just 2 in 1 bottle?
For all in one clear from TGB I use the rubber base coat. This gel in the video the base and builder are in one.
@@NailsbyMeesh sorry I’m still confused. U mean In this video, you just used one product which is “ all in 1 biab clear”. No extra rubber base or gel base??
🙈 terrible job
I’m sorry you feel that way. I think they’re great!
The nails are great. Can't beat the ease and quality you get from The Gel Bottle. That music is another story tho.
lol 😝 the music is whatever I can find on this app. I feel you though it’s not great.
Have your nails ever broken with this biab on? I want my natural nails to be near unbreakable 👀, so I’m looking into biab as an option
Depends on how you use them. I don’t break my nails but I never use them as tools or pick stuff with them or let them grow past 4 weeks.
Pretty❤
Thank you so much 🩷
Do you use a base coat? I purchased the BIAB and have tried it on a couple clients and it lifts off in 24 hours but I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong?
U need rubber base..
The product in the video is an all in one so she used the BIAB as the base coat😊
I’d you’re having trouble it could be your prep process, however, using a primer like Cuccio or Young Nails ones are great. Even using a bit of acetone as a dehydrator helps and make sure the nail is completely dry before applying product. I also use rubber base coat if I’m using clear gel from this brand. The coloured BIABs from TGB don’t need a base. Only clear requires one.
Which brush you used and what size
20mm line brush. I bought this one from Nail Queen she is in Serbia previously Canada but you can buy the same type on Amazon. I cut the bristles off so it was thinner.
Hi dear can you use biab on gel x
You can because it’s soak off. Any gel you use with gel X should be a soak off kind. Follow regular prep process for gel and gel x
You make it look so nice and easy 💕
Thank you 😊 it takes practice and some good video editing.
the result is really pretty thank you for sharing ! do you think it could work if I have regular nail polish ?
Yes, although it might be trickier since nail polish dries fairly quickly you will have to work a little faster.
Why does mine always peel off after a couple of days? What am I doing wrong?
It is likely your prep. If the nail has any shine or oils on it the product will not adhere. This is why you want to make sure the nail has been buffed with 180 grit buffer, wipe the nail with 70% or higher alcohol prior to applying product. You can use a small bit of acetone as a dehydrator - but make sure the nail is completely dry before product application. Make sure the product has not touched your cuticles either.
I do this. It's very easy and looks so classy . Affordable than doing nails at salon.
Yay I’m so glad you found this video helpful. 💕
No top polish?
I did apply top coat after I had done some nail art. This video was just to show how to apply the builder in a bottle. If you’re finishing the nails you always apply top coat.
Omg. This is cute!!!!!
I diy my soft gel extensions. I watch local nail artist's videos and they don't seem to create an apex when doing extensions. Do i still need apex when doing soft gel extensions or just for gel overlay?
Do you mean like an equivalent of Apres gel X nails where it’s a full cover nail tip applied with gel? If so then the apex should be built in when applying. If not and they are extending the nail with BIAB (soft gel) you still need an apex or you run the risk of the nail snapping or cracking on the sides.
What about base coat?
This particular product the base coat is built into it. Therefore I don’t need a separate base. You can apply a base coat first if the products you use require it. Make sure it’s cured first. Then move onto your builder gel.
Beautiful! I have a question. Could you just cure the slip layer and leave it at that? I am looking for a product that I can apply a thin layer of underneath a gel polish design to strengthen the nails. And I would like it to not look to bulky. So thats why😊
You can certainly do that but they won’t be as strong. So for at home it might be easier for you to apply it like that. Just know they won’t be as durable as building an apex.
@@NailsbyMeesh thanks for the answer! In the mean time I have already tried it and for me it gives me just the bit of extra strength I needed!😊
what are the colors of the gold and silver? they are beautiful
They’re chrome powders from Ameli on Amazon (I may have spelled it wrong) lol
Like
I really like your videos! Especially this one :) Is it safe to have a candle on when applying polish?
Oh wow thank you! And I know it appears that I am close to the candle but I’m really not. Also gel polish I do not think has the same flammable properties as regular nail polish. Gel requires a UV lamp to cure and is not an alcohol base type of product. Also the candle is not emitting as much heat.
I need that brusshhh
Honestly buy any 20mm brush and cut off extra bristles. That’s what I did. Customize your brushes to suit your needs. 💕 you don’t need expensive ones. Cheap ones off Amazon work just as well. Simple remove excess bristles so you can do that fine line work!
man she makes it look so easy whew thats skill
Yo editing makes it look easy trust me. It takes time and practice and does not always turn out that nice.
Do you cure the gel before applying the top coat? I don't get it😅 sorry. I'm trying to start doing my nails at home but i don't know the specific steps, and if a short misses just one I'm fucked...please help 😅
You should always cure between coats. The old time you don’t cure in between is when you are building up the nail and you make a Slip layer, then apply your bead of product to build the apex. Once you build the nail up for strength you cure that. Then you can finish file the nail and make sure you remove all the dust off the nail with alcohol and then apply your colour - always apply colour in very thin coats don’t be afraid to do 3 coats if it’s very thin it’ll work better and always cure in between. Then apply your top coat and cure that.
❤
Nice application but you must have all day to apply That! UK 🇬🇧
Hehe it takes some time but you can get faster at it. Also if you’re not finish filing the extra time you take to make sure the no file method is perfect does still save a bit of time.
At what point do you remove all product and start fresh?
I never do unless I want to change my builder gel base colour. Otherwise I fill them repeatedly. I make sure during my fills that any and all lifting is removed. As long as the product is not lifting you do not need to remove it all. Nails grow. Old product grows out. I do not have retention issues and my clients are rough with their nails. I am just very thorough with my removal of the old product and prep!
What kind of brush is that?
Long liner brush it’s a 20mm length. Honestly it’s from a brand that doesn’t sell it anymore, however any brush that length buy it. And cut it to be thinner. That’s all I do. Because usually brushes are never thin enough. I cut off some bristles. If the brush ever gets bend or out of shape simply dip it into super hot water and it will straighten out. 🩷
Swoop swoop swoop😂❤️
Hehe thanks 💕
Hello im a new nail tech :) im just wondering what is the recommended amount of infills a client can have before having to get a new fresh set?
I never apply a brand new set unless client wants a different coloured builder gel. Otherwise I fill repeatedly. I have for myself and several other clients for years. You simply need to make sure there is no lifting - file off the lifted product and you can fill it.
I I'm very interested in the sugar scrub after a manicure
Amazon! Sea salt scrub it’s vanilla grapefruit!
My BIAB formula is way too thick for the swoop swoop :( I really don’t get how I am supposed to create an apex with such a dense gel.
If your gel is super thick you’re better off applying it, it’ll be messy and then finish file. Make sure you have enough gel in the middle and sides to be able to file it into shape. Swoop swoop is more advanced and thinner builder gels or more runny builder gels can be tricky. Don’t be afraid to finish file the nail to make it look seamless and beautiful.
@@NailsbyMeesh I will have to experiment with that, since finish filing is quite a challenge for me still. Thanks for the advice! ❤️
I keep removing too much of my nail when removing the old gel and therefore my nails get super weak. 😩 it’s so frustrating!
When removing gel it’s always best to leave a thin layer on, it’s not necessary to go back down to the natural nail if you’re just going to be reapplying. My recommendation is to use a file and be mindful of the new nail growth and do not touch that part until you’re prepping the nail for your new gel. Hope that helps love.
