Try this with SKLZ golf balls. Hard plastic wiffle balls.

The issue is the color of the balls. Use white balls and you'll be good.

maye the heavier wiffle ball is better for the swingcaddie

i love this for an inexpensive launch monitor. I wish it would do club head speed with no ball. It really only likes real balls outdoors. It still helped me with all my clubs.....a lot!

Lol, the big tour is the largest cobra 3 wood. Not the players version. Made more to be played off the tee, similar to taylormade mini driver

I see you use a 6 iron and a hybrid can it be used with wedges as well

Could you do this with the Almost Golf balls? They are a lot better (IMHO) than those Callaway foam things.

Those balls are not made for the swing caddy. They are designed to practice your swing and personally in my opinion they are made to use outdoors and do give almost true trajectory and flight of a ball without all the distance. They are great way to practice if you cant leave the house or pay to go to the driving range all the time. I purchased 150 of those balls and i have a blast at the hpuse trying to perfect my swing and performance on the tee and off a ruff mat as well. They will let you know if you slice or pull or even shoot straight with a draw to it. The furthest i have shot one as of today is with an 8 iron and its going every bit of 80 to 100 yards no problem on a full swing

Trash, if it can't measure the balls being hit, it becomes the most frustrated POC I've ever had the horror in experiencing. Fuk this monitor.

Wonder if a lower lofted club would work better. Seems as thought the foam balls came off the wedge a lot higher than the regular balls did.

Nice little test, thanks for taking the time. I've been using the Vivid in red, gives a nice black dot against the sky in flight for my eyes, though I've had playing partners that can't see it. "I lost it"- words I don't say any more. Slightly less easy to see on the grass from a distance, though.

On Trackman my driver carry is 243 and it comes out as total 276 yards with a 1.50 smash. Just for reference.

The sc300 works marginally indoors. The sc300i will work indoors as well as outdoors.

Why almost of times the caddie can not detect the driver swing

I used to play a monthly medal at a club called Birdhills Golf Club in Berkshire UK, yours had better trees ours were just fir trees.

I have the sc300 as well. I am just wondering about the spin rate on driver. It is showing I have a very high spin rate. Going to compare with a flightscope mevo +. Just wondering if you had noticed the spin rates being high.

What's the netting you're using? I have a baseball batting net for my son but the hole are too big for golf and I could put something like this over that!!

Entirely too much talking between shots. Felt like for a video of 11:30 in time 8:30 was spent on yakking.......

I tried a few White Almost Golf Balls, and the SC300 read 9 out of 10. Not sure how accurate but seemed to be within a few yards of the same swing. Just hit Wedges and 9 Irons. So the Colour definitely makes a Difference, even Father Christmas would struggle to see the Orange Balls without a Snow background. I suspect the almost Golf Balls leave the Club close to regular speed of a real Ball over the first few yards until loosing momentum due to lack of weight, without getting too technical

Seems like certain shoe tread will work better than others. And like any screw you should be careful not to strip out the screw during installation.

Is the color of the ball a factor? As soon as I get my hitting area set up, I will be testing out how the SC300 picks up different colored balls.

Have you ever tried crossgolf balls like those from almostgolf? These are not as soft as foam balls and react more like regular golf balls. Maybe worth trying for those who want to practice indoors 😇

Hey mate, great review. Completely unrelated to the sc300 but what net are you using? Every net I’ve got off amazon I keep busting through with driver. The wife is starting to notice the holes in the fence 🤦‍♂️

What is your typical indoor practice like? Just curious, a little harder without seeing the ball
