The HDR Channel is the first real HDR (High Dynamic Range) channel on CZcams. It is dedicated to the curation and promotion 4K HDR content.
The best way to get in touch with us is sending an e-mail to ythdrchannel at gmail.com. We gladly accept HDR content to be featured on the channel. We also color grade SDR content to HDR content. We are very interested in collaborating with filmmakers on creating HDR color graded versions of their videos.
This channel contains real 4K UHD HDR videos which are playable from devices that support CZcams HDR, such as Chromecast Ultra or newer 4K HDR TVs from LG, Samsung, Sony, etc.
If you view these videos on an SDR (non-HDR) screen you will actually look at an HDR to SDR conversion that CZcams creates automatically.

This is perfect, please do more videos like this! One critique tho, the comparisons went by awfully fast. It would be great if you could let the comparisons play longer, maybe some in slowmo too. Also maybe some can be full screen? 15 sec in SDR then 15 secs of HDR followed by some split screen sounds good. Great work guys!

Watched this on a MacBook Pro @ 4K HDR... absolutely stunning!
I always thought HDR was just a gimmick at first. Then I got my first 4K UHD HDR TV (The TCL one, not the high end ones) and even then it looks so much better than SDR.
Obviously, you want to watch this on an device capable of showing CZcams HDR videos. If you watch this in SDR it's meaningless. When CZcams converts this video from HDR to SDR to show to an older device it does its best to keep the visual differences, but it's NOT the same as watching it in actual HDR.
i have a led projector 300 nit and a led tv with 1000 nit. i prefer the hdr from the projector.... really a lousy 300 nit above a 1k nit tv? YES
How does CZcams handle dynamic metadata of Dolby Vision & HDR+. Also: does it support Rec2020 ?
So if I don’t have a HDR tv or display I shouldn’t watch HDR content on it cause it will not give the HDR experience
