Newsflash. The function f(x) = √(7 - 3x) and its inverse intersect at three points only one of which lies on the line y = x. [(1, 2) and (2, 1)] √(7 - 3x) = (7 - x²)/3 7 - x² = 3√(7 - 3x) x⁴ - 14x² + 49 = 63 - 27x x⁴ - 14x² + 27x - 14 = 0 (x² + 3x - 7)(x² - 3x + 2) = 0 x = (-3 + √37)/2, x = 1 and x =2. x ≠ (-3 - √37)/2 as it is not in the domain of f(x) or its inverse.

What is Maths syllabus in New South Wales Catholic Schools ? 2. Is there any Specific Books for the curriculum to teach in Class . 3. How many students are there in each class . ( Year 7 to 12 ) 4. In how many months teacher have to complete the syllabus ? 5. Is Australia a teacher friendly country, I mean they will support an international teacher as it may take time to know and adjust ? 6. How many Classes a Maths teacher teach in a day ? Please can you prepare a full Video or share your insight via a meeting .
Is there something I can program or do on the non-cas version? It knows the “expand” command but when I try to expand, it just says “needs computer software” or “needs the cas version”
