In this video the kids help Emily and the grand parents clean out the stock trailer for my brother who is borrowing it for moving. The jerseys come by for a visit as well. Moving The Jersey Heifers And Their Heavy Steel Panel Pen
zhlédnutí 109Před 21 dnem
In this video I’m using a new camera that I’m still figuring out how to use. It’s a chest mounted action cam so it’s pretty useful. This pen is heavy but it’s never had anything break off yet. The jersey heifers really like the new grass. You also get to see the kids, Emily and I work together on this. #farm #farming #ranch #ranching #cows #cattle #kids #jerseycow #jersey #milkcow #actioncamera...

Those are the best tractors ever built I believe. Then they made the mistake to sell out to newholland . We had a 7610 and a 7710 when I was growing up and I loved those tractors
@@Kylesdoingstuff80 After using it over the years, I think you are right. It starts every time no matter the weather. I’m using it currently to move some dirt around.
The bigger and wider the windrow the better. You do A lot less weaving
Thanks, I’ll let my raker know.
Just found your channel. God bless!
Thanks! God bless you too!

Shouldn't run the baler with the door open
The newer John Deeres have a clutch system that lets you keep the pto going while you dump a bale.
Shouldn't run the baler with the door open
It’s got a clutch system that lets it run while you release a bale
That's when you take away the feeder and only give them so much so their legs stay in good shape.
My birds are only on feed for 12 hours or so depending on daylight. I’ve never had leg issues.
Hey there, the reason your right side hydraulics don’t work is because there are to levers on the side of were they plug in that are facing up, if you push them to the down position they will work, in order to properly unplug the hydraulics you depress them even further, when they are upwards as they are now it will cut the flow, the left hand side has no levers that cut oil flow, somone has taken them, they should be there but are not.
Thanks, I’ll try that valve and see if it makes a difference. The tractor is still running so we’ll see how it does this haying season.
Sounds like New England.
I’m near Williams Lake, British Columbia. It was 32°c (90°f) last year about this time.
@@Peavine We both live in difficult weather zones! I feel for you: Snow is brutal like that even into June. Stay we Peavine.
I’d love to visit New England one day, the fall leaves look amazing.
Can you slide down the sand dune?
Sadly there’s a cliff at the bottom of these sand dunes.
@@Peavine Thanks for the update! Too bad though. Otherwise it may be worth the extra time to visit on our way to Vancouver. It's not that close as that's 4-hr (356 km) NW of Kamloops.

I always liked the Solid Reds and Dark Roans, but not the Spotted Shorthorns.
I like the solid white animals the most.

Just discovered this channel 5 mins ago!! Love it already, keep up the good work!
Thanks! We hope to keep publishing better content as we go.
Nice looking machines. Apparently new Holland haybines are pretty much antique anymore sides apparently last year was the last time they made sickle mowers, now its just discbines, besides other haying equipment. Which nothing is wrong with discbines long as you have no stones or other small rocks, / hay not short & thin hay. Than they work fine. Otherwise could get hit by a thrown small rock from the discbine.
I’d need a new tractor to operate a discbine. I’ll use my sickle mower until I get a new tractor. Everyone else around here use discbines.
@@Peavine I understand, sides most dicsbines require higher horse power.
Sorry to hear mate, but least you guys can make the best of it.
We’ll figure it out. We are drilling another well in the spring.
Oh. Wow. I hope you get your water figured out.
I’m hoping our new well fixes some of the water issues.
Hello there, I just came across your channel while searching for 'Milking Shorthorn (Native)' that's on ALBC's list. I read that many different breeds were mixed in the shorthorn genome for production and they are not same as they used to be. I am curious to know that whether your cows qualify as now rare native milking shorthorn that are still pure .
They are native milking shorthorns, we’d like to try them one day if we can find a heifer.
Just subscribed to your amazing channel keep up the amazing content, I'd so love to do haymaking. UK Farmer here 🇬🇧
Thanks! This last year because of drought we had to buy most of our hay.
if he is smart he will stay in town during the hunting season
nice job! i have a jd 457 round bale that i pull with a 2001 new holland tn65 or a 1969 john deere diesel 4000...my baler also has the bale ramp 'flippers' that were not fast kicking out the bales, there is a hydraulic valve adjustment on the baler to make it go faster and i put a couple 1/4" turns to increase the pressure and now it kicks out faster and i don't have to pull forward to close the gate....best wishes from western new york
Thanks! I’ll give that a try next season.
Prelepo je 😊
Is that monalissa background?
That’s the Chilcotin River.
Accidentally got here video is good and I might watch other videos too. You got one more subscriber
Thanks!
Time to get a turkey shootin gun. Depending on where you live ( im assuming you are rural judging by the surroundings ) its perfectly legal to shoot, and kill those birds. And hey, free food / turkeys for thanksgivings of the future haha
They’re my farm turkeys, they’ll be done on the 7th of September.
Nice!@@Peavine
Your channel just popped up, So I decided to watch..... We Do hay Commercially, We round bale everything for speed. in baling, hauling, stacking.... Then convert into small squares, thru a Bale Baron, 21bale bundles, loaded onto a enclosed 53tf trailer for delivery to TSC stores........We have 4 J.D. balers.....P.S........ there is a video showing my Son's wife running the baler!
FORD IS GOLD 💪👌👍 SIMPLY THE BEST 💪👍❤️
Nothing stops an old Ford.
The wheels on the side of the swath only work if you set them down so they turn on the ground
I think I forgot to put them all the way down in this video. I didn’t miss any hay since the rake made the swath tall and narrow.
You dont see that every day. It is like watching old movies.
Process them all yourself?
Nope, I get them processed at an inspected facility since I sell them. I’d like to have my own facility one day.
If you don't smell smoke, IT IS NOT SMOKE!!!
It smelled like smoke. It’s from a couple of local fires.
@@Peavine God willing...
Hey, thanks for sharing. Did you upload another video on this topic?
I have bits and pieces of content on this Energizer throughout my videos. I’ll probably make another video on the Stafix in the future. It’s been solid and reliable for years.

Thanks for sharing this footage of y’all moving your all’s cattle, moved mine and weaned calves today
Nice! Are you fall calving?
@@Peavine yes l got some that will be having fall calves
Hey, do you have a video on how to build one of your children tractors?
I think I do, but nothing as detailed as I’d like to put out soon.
How do you stop the water nipples from leaking if some debris gets in the o ring?
Those nipple waterers are not very good for anywhere you have to clean out the bedding. They will always end up leaking and creating a mess. On pasture with 75 chickens in a tractor it’s not a problem because you’ll be filling the waters often enough to keep cleaning and fixing nipples regularly. It’s about a once a week thing.
that bale ramp STINKS. you should NOT have to pull ahead to close the gate.
I was thinking it had to do with how weak the rear hydraulics are on the tractor. The lift gate takes forever to open on the baler with that tractor. A little momentum might help the bale ramp. But I don’t know, I’d have to use a different tractor to see a difference.
I have a 6610 pulling a Vermeer 504R. We have problems with the windrow getting clogged up on the drawbar and it causes a lot of headaches. I'm guessing smaller rear tires were placed somewhere along the way. What size rear tires do you have on your 6610 and does it seem to set too low?
The fronts are 2.4-24 and the rears are 16.9-34. We haven’t had a problem with the windrows getting clogged yet. But we’ll see what happens this year.
fast forwarded the best part of the video =P
I think I had my camera out there on Timelapse mode for 4 hours.
