Reading the age-appropriate books 2. Follow simple conversation at home 3. Give commands and comments 4. Check if the child is understanding 5. Start with short and simple sentences. Use carry-over sentences (you can check with your therapist for this) 6. Gradually increase the length and complexity of the sentence. We hope the above tips will be helpful.

Absolutely, in fact as per the guidelines the newborns should get newborn hearing screening before discharge from the hospital. This gives parents a chance to get early intervention, if needed.
